Dr. Dre and Warren G

Both prominent West Coast rappers, Dr. Dre and Warren G call one another brother. Literally. Dre’s mother Verna married Warren G’s father Warren Griffin, whom she met at her job in Long Beach, California. Griffin came with four kids, including Warren Griffin III–Warren G.

Dre and Warren would eventually work together on The Chronic album. 

Beyoncé & Solange Knowles and Bianca Lawson

With their mother’s newfound happiness came a new sister! When Tina Knowles, mother of Beyoncé and Solange, married actor Richard Lawson, her famous daughters became step-siblings to actress Bianca Lawson of Pretty Little Liars and Save The Last Dance fame. Lawson is now Bey and Solo’s big sister. *smiles warmly*

The Kardashians and Brody Jenner

Way before Caitlyn Jenner made her fabulous debut courtesy of Vanity Fair, Bruce Jenner tied the knot with Kris Jenner (neé Houghton) and welcomed all four of her kids into the family. Brody Jenner, who would become a star thanks to shows like The Hills and The Princes of Malibu, would immediately become stepbrother to Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian. I don’t think anyone expected them to one day become reality TV’s biggest family.

Brody Jenner and Erin & Sara Foster

Jenner was also stepbrother to Erin and Sara Foster, the stars of the VH1 show Barely Famous. Sara Foster is an actress who was on the 90210 reboot from a few years ago, and Erin is an actress and comedienne. Jenner’s mother, Linda Thompson, was once married to Erin and Sara’s father, musician David Foster.

Not done yet! After David Foster and Linda Thompson had divorced, he married Yolanda Hadid, a star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Erin and Sara Foster became the stepsisters of popular model Gigi Hadid. Ironically, Gigi is the BFF of Kendall Jenner, the half-sister of Erin and Sara’s former step-brother, Brody.

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra

The stars of the original Teen Mom series, who are currently planning their wedding, were actually step-siblings at one time. No worries, they no longer are. You see, Lowell’s mother, April, married Baltierra’s dad, Butch, after finding out that their children were dating (shady). But Butch allegedly abused April and couldn’t stay out of trouble. He is now in prison, and April finalized their divorce in 2014, only to turn around and get married again near the end of the year.

Troian Bellisario and Sean Murray

Actress Troian Bellisario of Pretty Little Liars fame is step-sister to actor Sean Murray, of Hocus Pocus and Jag fame. Sean’s mother, Vivienne, married Bellisario’s father, television producer Donald Bellisario, in 1998.

The-Dream, Nivea and Christina Milian’s Kids

No, these individuals aren’t related, but their children are half-siblings. The-Dream and Nivea have three children together (Navy, London, and Christian) from their marriage, and The-Dream and Christina Milian have daughter Violet together from their short-lived marriage. If Milian’s relationship with Lil Wayne goes further than everyone thinks, Nivea’s son with that rapper, Neal, would be Violet’s step-sister.

But if Milian’s relationship with Lil Wayne goes further than everyone thinks, Nivea’s son with that rapper, Neal, would be Violet’s step-sister. And Violet would be the step-sister of Reginae Carter…and Lil Wayne’s two other sons, Cameron and Dwayne Carter III.

Just way too much going on with all these people…

Jessica Capshaw and Steven Spielberg

Okay, these two clearly aren’t siblings, but I thought this was cool. Jessica Capshaw, who I love from Grey’s Anatomy and The Practice (throwback!), is the step-daughter of famed director and producer Steven Spielberg. Her mother is actress Kate Capshaw (who divorced former husband Robert Capshaw in 1980). Kate married Spielberg in 1991.
