Apparently, folks are still very invested in what’s going on with Cynthia Bailey’s purse. Recently, the reality star felt the need to address speculation that her husband, Peter Thomas, is blowing all of her hard-earned cash.
“Peter can’t take anything from me because, first of all, we’re married. My money is his money and his money is my money,” she told Straight From The A. “So Peter can’t take nothing from me.”
As for people who believe that it’s unwise for her to constantly invest in her husband’s many business endeavors, Cynthia had this to say:
“For those of you who do not know, let me be clear, I wasn’t born when I met Peter, I had a whole life in New York City where I’ve had nothing but success and money and things and other relationships and that was never an issue.”
“I will say this, Peter has a problem. He’s very ambitious as an entrepreneur. He was that way long before I met him. If he sees a good deal, he says ‘This is a good deal, I’m going to go on and do it. What he’s supposed to do is say, ‘Hey, I bought a building today on Peach Street. I thought it was a good deal and I just want you to come see it before I sign the contract. That’s what he’s supposed to do, but we’re working on that.”
The former model went on to say that she can’t afford to blow all of her money because she has a child to think about.
“So why would I move to Atlanta and be a part of this and all of a sudden, I’m just going to give my money away? Come on now, I’ve got a kid. Like, that doesn’t even make sense. Y’all have got to make a little bit of sense.”
What are your thoughts on all of this?
