Seven Simple Ways to Make Him Smile

Men are not as complicated as women. It doesn’t take a dozen roses or a pair of designer shoes to make them feel special. They are simple and much cheaper. Guys just want to feel needed and appreciated. All it takes is a small, thoughtful gesture to give your man the smile that changes his day.
Here are seven simple ways to cater to your sweetie that don’t take a lot of time or break bank:
1. Pack him a sack lunch.
Isn’t it so nostalgic? Bring back childhood memories and remnants of past innocence, the smile that came across his face when he saw that his mother packed two Rice Krispies treats. Be sure to include a three-word note simply saying, “I love you.” He will appreciate the thoughtfulness in its simplicity.
2. Iron a few of his button-ups.
Cater to your man; make him feel like the head honcho. Take care of him like June Cleaver. Wash some of his shirts and iron them for the coming work days. Men like to be pampered, too. Spoil him and he will spoil you.
3. Send a Hot picture for lunch.
Pick him up in an “exciting” way with a little midday sexting. It is a sure-fire way to lift his spirits. Be sure to let him know how bad you need it and stay geared up for an evening love session. Men are physical and need to feel desired sexually. So, give him a taste of your inner nasty girl through the phone. It will be like a B-12 shot to his ego.
4. Call before you go to sleep, just to hear his voice.
If you don’t live together or you are traveling, give him a call when you’re snuggled in and ready to turn it in for the night. Keep it very brief and let him know you just called to hear his voice. Him feeling like he provides you with a sense of comfort and security will also make him feel loved; and, when he hangs up that phone, he’ll be grinning—ear to ear.
5. Write him a poem.
Remix roses are red or throw together a haiku. It does not have to be anything long or complicated. Don’t worry about sounding like the next Maya Angelou. He will appreciate your efforts to do something thoughtful and sweet, the cornier the cuter.
6. Give him a specific compliment.
Pick out one of his best qualities or physical features and let him know how well it is working for him. If he’s dashing in a suit and tie, let him know he’s killin’ em’. Give him a Gina Waters “You go boy!” and watch his mood brighten just that easily.
7. Ask him a question about something he knows a lot about.
Guys like to show off, especially for women. Give him the opportunity to educate you on something he knows a lot about by asking a question you know he can answer thoroughly. Probe for further explanation. Be/ Act interested and engaged. Soliciting his expertise will boost his confidence and satisfy his desire to be your everything.
