1) Halle Berry: Her look is effortlessly chic. It always seems as if she quickly ran her hands through it with maybe a little shaping pomade before running out of the house. It’s the classic no frills short cut. She dabbled in weaves for a few years, but thankfully returned to her short ‘do.
2) Solange Knowles: When she first cut off her hair and some criticized the move, she let them know that she wasn’t doing it for anyone but herself and told people where to go if they didn’t like it. That boldness is mirrored in this cut. It doesn’t just say “I’m here,” it proclaims it. This cut brings out all of Solange’s beauty. And we love that she keeps it natural! She pops on the afro or braid wig every now and then to change things up, but we know the adorableness that was underneath those wigs.
3) Mary J. Blige: There’s just something about Mary’s short cut that makes her appear regal. Honey blonde tresses don’t work for everybody, but we can’t picture any other color on Mary. She keeps it funky, sometimes adding hair on one side for an asymmetrical bob that gives her a 90’s feel, but with modern elegance.
4) Tia Mowry: When Tia unveiled her short ‘do on the last season of The Game we immediately fell in love. It gave her a sexier, more mature look. It made her stand out. She’s since gone back to the long look, but we ‘re hoping that the pixie will return.
5) Chrisette Michele: Chrisette had always been creative with her short styles, playing with volume and height. Since taking the plunge and cutting her hair down to a ceasar, she has experimented with different colors to diversify the style. What we love most about this ‘do is despite the severity of the cut, there is a sophisticated femininity to the cut. Like Solange, she too has been rocking a wig as of late, but we dig what’s underneath too.

7) Regina King: Regina’s sassy short cut gives her a no-nonsense demeanor that we’ve all come to love. It’s simple yet chic. Her hair is always perfectly coiffed without looking overdone.
8) Bria Murphy: This Hollywood newcomer and daughter of Eddie Murphy has a cute spunky cut that accentuates her youthful vibe. It’s modern yet elegant. Dark and Lovely must agree, as she is the new face of the hair care line.
9) Keri Hilson: This southern songbird’s tresses are Hot with a street edge. She often goes with a two-tone color scheme that adds some spice to an otherwise simple style. Whether she goes pixie short or chin length bob, she always keeps it chic.
10) Nia Long: The ageless acting beauty has been known to do longer styles from time to time, but she is best known for her adorable short cuts. With a face like that, she could wear her hair pretty much any way she wants, but the pixie cut definitely suits her.
