MadameNoire is proud to serve as an official media partner of this year’s “Run The World Summit,” a transformative two-day experience hosted by the Women In Power Collective and returning to New York City from June 21–22. Now in its fourth year, the summit—founded by beauty entrepreneur and wellness visionary Kadeisha Placide—offers an immersive sanctuary where Black women, women of color, and for the first time, Black men and allies, can gather to recharge, reflect, and redefine success through the lens of wellness, purpose, and intentional living.

As part of the weekend’s empowering programming, MadameNoire’s very own Managing Editor Danica Daniel will moderate the panel “Passion Into Purpose: Navigating The Assignment,” leading a conversation on how to align your calling with your career. Blending luxury with community, the summit invites attendees to indulge in self-care, explore spiritual and professional growth, and form meaningful connections that last far beyond the weekend.

The weekend kicks off on June 21 with Wellness Day, a full-body and mind reset designed to help guests reconnect with themselves and each other. Attendees will participate in intimate group sessions that include high-intensity interval training (HIIT), Pilates, mindfulness exercises, and guided movement. The day also features a vibrant marketplace spotlighting women-of-color-owned brands, offering guests a chance to shop intentionally while supporting community entrepreneurs. To round out the experience, a welcoming mixer will provide space for meaningful conversation and new connections in a relaxed, nourishing environment.

On June 22, the experience evolves into a dynamic and immersive summit day. Guests will engage with thought-provoking panels, breakout workshops, and networking mixers curated to foster growth, collaboration, and purpose-driven conversations. Faith-based activations will offer a spiritual grounding element, while a chic brunch and curated bar experiences elevate the atmosphere. Attendees can also expect live performances and interactive beauty and wellness activations, making the day as energizing as it is inspiring.

This year marks a milestone for the summit with the introduction of its first-ever Men’s Wellness Panel, expanding the vision of collective healing and dialogue. This inclusive new addition invites Black men and allies into the conversation, focusing on emotional intelligence, leadership, legacy, and holistic well-being. It’s a powerful step toward creating a broader, more unified approach to intentional living and generational growth. This year’s “Run The World Summit” is sure to be a fun one, packed with unity, power and healing.

With a foundation in psychology, Placide brings a holistic approach to everything she creates, empowering women to thrive from the inside out. In 2018, she launched Classic Beauty Studio, a pioneering space in New York City known for its commitment to clean, inclusive beauty. Her innovative leadership quickly positioned her as a trailblazer in the evolving beauty landscape.

Recognizing the unique challenges faced by women of color in fast-paced, high-demand environments, Kadeisha founded the Women In Power Collective in 2022. What began as a vision for a safe, affirming space has grown into a thriving platform for healing, connection, and purpose-driven growth. Designed especially for busy, high-achieving women, the collective nurtures self-awareness, confidence, and alignment with one’s true calling, offering a deeply inclusive and restorative wellness experience.

Whether you’re looking to heal, grow, or simply breathe, the Women In Power Collective invites you to show up as you are and leave renewed. This is more than a summit, it’s a movement toward living fully, freely, and with purpose.
