Although fall is slowly creeping closer, the current blazing temperatures are definitely reminding us that it’s still summer. Our favorite celebrity curvy girls have been parading their gorgeous figures all over the runways, magazines and award shows, making this season just a little hotter.
If any of you voluptuous vixens are unsure of how to outfit your body during these humid months, we’ve hooked up with former “Project Runway“ contestant and current designer, Mychael Knight, to share his tips.
Do wear color! Color is exciting and it’s flattering. Don’t always go with one color. Try to break it up with other colors.
Accessories, accessories, accessories! There’s nothing better than to accessorize your garment with a pair of earrings, a necklace or a great bag.
Do wear white. A lot of curvy women are afraid to wear white. It’s all about the silhouette. With white, you want to wear something a little more body-conscious. You don’t want to wear anything too loose or flowy because then you’ll start to look like a trash bag. It should definitely be form-fitted to your body.
Try something that’s a little more slimming, something that will elongate your body. It’s always fresh and it’s clean and it looks regal.
Please remember to groom. Keep your nails and toenails done. It’s all about the small things that complete a look.
I really like the idea of the draping, cascading shawls with sleeves. They’re like cardigans. They’re great for layering and the lines of the drape kind of lengthen the body.
