Celebrities Who Are Voting In Their First Presidential Election (And Some Voting For The First Time Ever)

Actress Yara Shahidi, 20, has voted before (which isn’t a surprise because she’s been something of an outspoken activist), but this is her first presidential election. She launched an initiative called “The Clock Is Ticking” to encourage others to make their voices heard. The star and her family also planned out and successfully executed an in-person early voting day.
“Our ballots may not provide the perfect solution, but they should always be used as a tool working ALONGSIDE/SUPPORTING the civic action we must take 365 days a year… and THIS upcoming election is no different!” she said back in September.
