We've Got The Details On Jordyn Woods' Looks For Rick Ross' 'Big Tyme' Video

Jordyn Woods showed us that a little scandal was not going to stop her hustle! She’s launched a few fashion collaborations with Boohoo and Secndnture, made her acting debut on Grownish, and she recently popped her cherry as a video vixen for Gunna and Rick Ross. Rick Ross’ new ‘Big Tyme’ video features Jordyn living the high life.

Sarah MK Paris served as the lead stylist for this shoot. The up-and-coming stylist has built a diverse portfolio. From working with big brands like Canon, to wardrobe styling for indie movie “Dope Fiend,” Sarah has made sure to stretch her talents to all parts of the industry. She has worked with Serge Ibaka, Ryan Leslie, Boris Kodjoe, among others prominent celebrities. While styling music videos isn’t new to her, this one is holds a lot of excitement.

Sarah was handed a mood board by production and from there, she was able to execute the larger-than-life ‘big tyme’ image that the video needed. To go with the mood of the song, it was important to highlight Jordyn’s soft, elegant side. “I wanted Jordyn to be very outstanding while staying classy and a bit over the top. I added an editorial touch and strayed away from the vulgar or ratchet-girl looks.”

In her opening scene, Sarah proved that it was time to go big, or go home. She says, “Its Big Tyme! This outfit is the editorial touch I wanted for the shoot. I needed a crazy piece to give that vibe and Jordyn never wore anything like this. It was a good occasion for me to show that she could wear these kinds of pieces. I wanted to show that not only sexy and revealing exist in hip hop videos.” Jordyn wore a long, puffy fringe jacket by Laurence and Chico, a black dress by Miss Circle, and shoes by Alexander McQueen.

For her look in the car with Rick Ross, Jordyn wore a corset and skirt by Dorshelle Guillaume. Sarah says, “I wanted her to be super elegant using a corset to give a sexy touch, equal to Ross’ image of a boss. She was glowing.“

For her look on the yacht, Sarah aimed to separate Jordyn from your typical everyday girl. “She is the main girl (in the video). I could not have her wearing a regular bathing suit that would make her look like she fit in. I needed her to be outstanding compared to the other girls, so I had a custom piece made for her from Ontario, Canada,” Sarah said. Outstanding, indeed. Jordyn wore a custom suit by Chavez Fashion and a La Vanter mesh trench coat. Her earrings were by Katerine Karambelas.

Sarah styled the extras on the shoot as well. Swimsuits were designed by Liliana Montoya Swim. The young lady on the left is wearing a crystal cage by Radmila Lolly. The lady on the far right is wearing a diamond fringe crop top by La’venter.

I am so happy to see Jordyn winning. After the Tristan/Kardashian drama, her career had the potential to take a blow. The camaraderie of the black community elevated her when times got hard.
