Come on glam!
A look that slays can fall flat if the hair and makeup aren’t on point too, so we can’t help but applaud when celebrities nail all three. At this year’s BET Awards, stars brought it, sporting everything from natural hairstyles to curly looks and short sleek ‘dos.
As for the glam, shimmery gold hues were the big theme of the night, with Ciara, Marsai Martin, and more rocking it on their lids. Meanwhile, Justine Skye wowed us with her natural, sultry beauty look that included a soft gold hue on the corners of her eyes, and Yara Shahidi and H.E.R. showed off enviable natural hairstyles, giving us major beauty inspo for summer looks.

Ciara’s orange Jean Paul Gautier dress was a statement maker on its own, so she kept her makeup soft, with a touch of shimmer on her lids and a soft gold hue on her lips. Her locks, which she wore in a sleek blunt asymmetrical bob took her look to the next level – and just might spark a summer trend.

Every time Yara Shahidi steps on the carpet, she sports a natural hair look that makes us want to add the style to our arsenal. The Grownish star was glowing with a pop of gold under her brow, a nude glossy lip, and her hair slicked back into two long braids.

We love a good effortless natural ponytail moment, and Marsai Martin nailed it with this one. She paired the look with a pink glossy lip, a pop of shimmery gold on her lids and a fierce cat eye.

It’s rare that we see H.E.R. anywhere without her shades, but that doesn’t make her look any less glam. We swooned over her curls that embraced her natural hair and loved the deep pop of red on her lips.
