Entrepreneur Set to Teach Financial Literacy to Youngsters
(Washington Informer) — A Prince George’s County businesswoman has set up a program to make sure that young people understand the importance of learning how to manage their money properly. Carmen Johnson is the president and chief executive officer of the Katie Able Foundation, based in Lanham, Md. Johnson, 44, who also runs her own company, Able Estates & Company, said that teaching financial literacy to young people is something she is familiar with because her grandmother, Katie Harrison-Able, taught her the value of good money management.
