Actor Boris Kodjoe has been a #MCE (man crush everyday) contender since he first appeared in TLC’s ‘Red Light Special’ music video in 1995.
The gorgeous Ghanian/German star has appeared in some of our Black movie favorites from “Brown Sugar” to “Soul Food.” And through it all, he’s been bald.
But now the 45-year-old is letting us in on a little secret–he used to have hair! The father of two took to Instagram to share a rarely seen photo of himself with a full head of hair.
“Yep…go ahead, you can say it. Scream if you want to….I had HAIR!!!! 🕺🏾😊👍🏽Granted it was a long time ago and it left me for good right around the time I became a father. But I fought for it, pretended it was still there even though my hairline receded faster than I could color it in with #mascara or other USELESS anti-balding remedies. #Sharpie#OnlyForMen #HairFibers #FillInPowder#Serum yes, I did it all!! And was convinced noone would notice…BUT THEY ALL KNOW YOU’RE DOING IT….EVERYONE KNOWS!!!!” he captioned the photo.
He continued saying letting his hair go was a painful practice, but he learned to accept his new look.
“And in the end… I cried 😫😢….and learned to say goodbye. And eventually I embraced my #BaldNsexy”
Of course, we never needed him with hair. In fact, despite the #BeardGang craze, this man’s stunning looks is timeless.
