Just a month after welcoming her first child with boyfriend Carey St. Hilaire in March, former Bad Girls Club star Tanisha Thomas is already sharing another blessing. The pair just announced their engagement while celebrating their anniversary.
“So about last night…I’m Officially OFF the market,” Thomas wrote on Instagram. “He asked and I said….YES! So excited to spend forever with you.”
The Brooklyn native and her partner welcomed their son Aiden on March 7. And they announced the news back in October that they were expecting with a photo shoot.
“With patience and faith we waited for our miracle,” she wrote, “And now with love we joyfully announce our very special blessing.”
She spoke about adjusting to motherhood with the help of St. Hilaire 10 days after Aiden’s arrival:
“Though this is everything I’ve ever wanted motherhood is FAR from easy,” she wrote. “I’m a week and change in and I’m probably running on 10 hours of sleep…my body feels like I got jumped by the entire cast of bgc…and don’t get me started on the damn back pain! I made the mistake of giving baby formula first and now it’s HELL to get him to breastfeed Smh now we’re going to try to pump 🙈 …. my hair and nails look a hot rotisserie mess and I couldn’t care less (Bae knows how I could look shoot)
Besides as much as I LOVE to. E glammed up I barely have enough energy to stand and speaking of Bae this last week kicked our butts so bad I didn’t know if we were going to make it to the weekend!
While we were never perfect before our new addition has definitely rocked our world and roughed us up! I was so out of it a few days ago I almost drank formula thinking it was water mid sleep. And let’s not talk about my paper thin Patience and mood swings baby I almost took a swing at my reflection. Despite all of the challenges moments like these make it all worth it. I can’t speak for everyone’s journey but this is mine. Indeed rocky sometimes but real, raw and resilient enough to finish strong. I have such a newfound respect for not just mothers but caregivers everywhere. What a job what a job!

As previously mentioned, the proposal happened on the couple’s anniversary. Before their big date night, St. Hilaire alluded to the fact that he had something special planned for Thomas on Instagram.
“Happy Anniversary to my amazing partner, best friend, and the incredible mother of my son,” he wrote. “The years are starting to pile up now huh? I might be working today but I have a big evening planned for you tomorrow. Thank you for being everything I needed. I love you with a passion!”
This is to be the second marriage for the reality star. She was previously married to Clive Muir, and they were together from 2011 to 2014. The pair appeared on Marriage Boot Camp‘s first season in 2014.
