Oh Baby.com! Tamar Braxton Will Deliver Baby On Air
*If ever there was a time to be private, childbirth would be appropriate. Ain’t no body got time for that!
But Tamar Braxton wants to share the experience with her fans and followers via the next season of “Tamar & Vince.” Maybe this episode should be called, “Tamar” because she’s moving forward with the taping of those precious, gut-wrenching moments despite her husband’s wishes.
“My husband’s not comfortable with any of this,” she stated with a giggle before collecting her thoughts. Tamar is a little more open to the idea because she feels that it’s only right to continue bringing fans along for the rest of the journey that she started last season on “Braxton Family Values” and her own spin-off.

Rumor Has It: Trina Braxton Wants Gabe To Pay Up, Though There Are No Plans For Divorce

Source: Wetv.com
Man. For the life of me, I cannot put my finger on the nature of Trina and Gabe’s relationship. One minute they seem like they’re really good friends and might be able to make things work; then the next, oral transactions are being exchanged, tracking devices are being installed on phones and separation papers are being drawn up.
So just to be sure we’re all on the same page, as of now Trina and Gabe are officially…legally(?) separated.
Now, according to TMZ, Trina is asking that a judge require Gabe to pay her an “unspecified amount of money.” This raises a few questions.
1.) Isn’t alimony for people who are already divorced?
2.) Is Gabe really making that much more money than her that she would need to dig in his pockets?
3.) Money for what? For doing everything short of having full on intercourse with other women?
I’m just very confused. And as if the money request weren’t enough to make you tilt your head sideways, Trina says that there are no plans for the two to divorce and she’s hoping they’ll be able to work it out.
Umm Trina, baby how are you going to work on a marriage when you’re taking your husband to court, trying to get paid? Something ain’t right.
And on another note, has anyone else noticed that the Braxton sisters are seemingly content to be separated forever instead of just getting a divorce? Toni has been separated from her husband for years, Towanda was discussing the option when she and Andre were having their problems and now Trina. Now, I believe in the sanctity of marriage too; but what’s the point of remaining in a marriage you have no intention of working on it as you opt to live the single life, going on dates and what not. It seems like too many balls to juggle…pun intended.
What do you think, is Trina entitled from some money from Gabe, or should she be focusing her energies elsewhere?
“The View” With Sass? The Braxton Sisters Are Working On A Daytime Talk Show
Everybody is trying to get in on the talk show business right now, including the Braxton sisters. Millions of viewers already tune in to Wetv faithfully each week to watch Traci, Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar, and even Miss E argue, hug it out, sing, and plenty more, and now the sisters are thinking they can get just as many people to watch them on a daily talk show.
“Toni, Traci, Towanda and Trina are all in LA right now, pitching a talk show,” a Los Angeles TV executive told The Huffington Post. “Think ‘The View’ but with a lot of sass! There will be the Braxton sisters’ version of ‘Hot Topics,’ called ‘Spill the T,’ plus gossip, relationships, fashion, makeover segments and celebrity guests. They have even gotten their mom to do an ‘Ask Mommy’ advice segment. A fun, fun show.”
This actually doesn’t sound like a bad idea. The Braxtons are definitely entertaining and without Tamar, they should be able to keep things tame, yet entertaining, on the set without overdoing it. It will be interesting to see what network might be interested in picking this up as there aren’t any talk shows on air with a group of all-black hosts. I like that idea.
It looks like the sisters are close to making this happen too. A family friend told HuffPost:
“Toni is totally into it, as is the rest of the family. They have somehow managed to secure Rob Dauber, a veteran of ‘The Rosie Show,’ ‘Oprah’ and ‘The Wendy Williams Show,’ to be executive producer and make them the next daytime hit. Plus, you know they are going to have one hell of a theme song!”
That is true. Would you watch a Braxton Family Values talk show?

Is Trina Really Going To Follow Through With Her Divorce?
Gabe and Trina have been having problems since we first met them on season 1 of “Braxton Family Values,” and undoubtedly long before. After therapy, infidelity, and everything in between, Trina finally declared that she was going to leave her husband on the last season of the show, but was she for real about it?
In an interview with Vibe.com, she seemed to be proceeding to divorce with (a lot of) caution.
“I am officially separated. I am not officially, or legally, divorced,” she told the site.
“It’s not something that easy to delve into, especially when you have children involved,” Trina added. “So it’s nothing I’m going to jump into lightly. I want to exhaust all of my options, and really think it through and let it be my choice and my decision.
“At the end of the day, people are living their lives and I’m stuck with the decision,” she added.
Can’t get mad at that answer, but it is interesting that all of the sisters (besides Tamar and Traci) seem to have one foot in the divorce door and the other in separation land.
Towanda legally separated from her husband last season but hasn’t made a move toward reconciliation or divorce since, and Toni and her husband have been separated since 2009 and never filed papers. It’s starting to seem like the Braxton sisters may not believe in divorce.
The third season of “Braxton Family Values” kicked off last night so we’ll have to follow the episodes to see just how things go down with Trina and Gabe.
Do you think it’s time for Trina to finalize the divorce?

Trina Braxton Talks Divorce And Needing A God-Fearing Man
Trina Braxton had a rough second season on “Braxton Family Values.” She found out her husband Gabe had been e-cheating on her, she revealed that she’d orally pleased another man, and then Gabe declared himself a sex addict—all while Towanna and her husband were living with them. Not much has been heard from Trina since the season wrapped but 365voice recently had a chat with the Braxton sister to see just how her life has been affected professionally, personally, and romantically. Here’s what she said:
How being on the show changed her life
“As far as family is concerned doing Braxton Family Values has made us realize that we had issues (LOL) that were unspoken or swept under the rug and we were really forced to deal with them. Once we realized we had those issues we were able to have closure with them. On a second note I go to the store and I’ll have people like ‘Oh my gosh is that you Trina? Can we take a picture?’ and I’ll smile from ear to ear and I’m always like OMG yes even if I’m having like a bad hair day. Just don’t talk about me real bad if it’s a bad hair day LOL!”
The status of her relationship with Gabe
“You know a lot of people it seems like have gone through the same situation or they’ve been through something very similar in their relationship and their just kind of like what do you do? How do you do this? And what do you think I should do? The first thing I say is I don’t know because you never know what you’ll do unless you go through something yourself. I have learned to keep my mouth shut with that. As far as the status of Gabe and I, I have filed for divorce however we are being very adult about it. We are talking, we are still raising the children together and we are still praying about his sex addiction therapy that he’s going to a counselor for as well. We’re doing a lot of praying and a lot of keeping outside influences away from our decision making. I think that’s one of the biggest mistakes we’ve made through the seasons of Braxton Family Values.”
What kind of man she’s looking for now
“Well the ink isn’t dry yet LOL so right now I’m concentrating on my career and of course my children. However when I do look for a man he has to be a God fearing man but also has to have balance with it. Please don’t hit me upside the head with a Bible and try to beat me to submission cause that’s not hot. I still like to enjoy myself and enjoy my life and have a nice drink or go out. I still like to curse, I like to say Isht sometimes (LOL). I also want someone who will appreciate the fact that I have baggage, I have 2 children and we come together. We’re a package deal so if you can’t deal with that then there is no need in even talking to me.”
What’s going on with her career
“I just released my first single ‘Party Or Go Home’ it’s a very retro, pop dance single. It’s very bubbly and it shows my personality as Trina. This is the first project I’ve ever done recording by myself without my sisters. It allowed me to express myself the way I wanted to do music. As soon as you hear it you want to just get up and dance and enjoy yourself.”
On who’s her favorite sister
“I don’t have a favorite sister however we go through seasons of closeness. When Towanda was Toni’s personal assistant they were like peas in a pod, inseparable and now that Towanda is back in Atlanta here with me Towanda and I are very close. Now that Toni and Tamar are in California together Toni and Tamar are very close. And Traci’s in Maryland but my brothers in Maryland along with her so my brother and Traci are very close right now. Even though we all call each other everyday like I said we have periods of closeness depending on what’s going on in our lives. So right now Towanda’s my closest sister.”
365 Voice also asked Trina whether Toni really won’t return for season 3 of BFV, and though she said she couldn’t confirm either way she wouldn’t be surprised if Toni didn’t come back, saying, “I think she’d rather just go ahead and be Toni the songstress as opposed to Toni the reality TV star.”
What do you think about Trina’s interview? Is divorce a good move for her and Gabe?

Black Girls Don’t Do That: Trina Braxton and ‘Oral Transactions’
Last week’s episode of the “Braxton Family Values” wasn’t a good look for sister Trina. She admitted to having an “oral transaction” with a band member, but unless the definition of the word transaction has changed, what Trina did was more of a donation considering she was the only one giving anything.
Trina received a lot of backlash for coming out on national TV, although I think more people—like her sisters—were concerned with the fact that she didn’t get anything in return, rather than the fact that she cheated. But maybe the critics feel the way Trina does about “slobbing the knob,” as Tamar said: oral sex just isn’t sex.
Trina opened up to Sister 2 Sister magazine about her situation and when Jamie asked why she didn’t have full intercourse with the band member, she said this:
“Honestly, Auntie Jamie, I’m one of those people, I don’t have but so many notches on my belt. When it comes down to it, numbers mean a lot to me, and I’ve never been the type of woman to spread myself thin and let every Tom, package and Harry—or every Tom’s hairy d***—to associate with me and my body; not to sound vulgar.
“I don’t allow that with my body; I just don’t. I do not. I did not, and I will not.”
I know there’s a difference between letting a man stick his you know what you know where and doing what she did, but in my mind, the notches all add up pretty much the same. What’s funny is Trina is sort of reversing the discussion that typically surrounds black women and oral sex, as exemplified by her sisters saying black girls don’t usually “do that.” Trina, on the other hand, told S2S that she doesn’t understand why the act is so taboo, and from her comments she sounds as though she thinks she’s better for not laying it low and spreading it wide, as her mama would say. But like we teach girls in grade school, oral sex is sex, and drummer boy definitely still associated with her body in some way.
Oral sex shouldn’t be any more taboo than cheating but it seems as though it might be in the Braxton household and maybe still among black women at large. I thought the whole “we don’t do that” trend had gone out the window, but from listening to these 30- and 40-year-olds, it might still be in full effect. Even the whole “knotches on my belt” comment suggests Trina’s got a long way to go in terms of sexual liberation in some ways, and surprisingly not in others, as her kiss and tell moment shows.
I definitely think if you’re going to serve somebody you should get yours as well, but if you’re married the only one you should be serving is your husband. Oral sex isn’t really a black or a white thing, but if you want to make it one, let’s not make going down on another man while your still married because you want to get your freak on but still keep your numbers low a black thing.
What do you think about Trina and her oral transaction? Do you think a lot of women still feel like she does about not engaging in intercourse to limit the notches on their belt? What about her sisters and their “black girls don’t do that” comments?
