Former Miami Dolphins player Chad Johnson has been making headlines quite frequently lately and not for good reasons. Just yesterday we reported that the athlete-turned-reality star was crying broke to family court, pleading wit the judge to lower his child support payments. Now, we’ve learned that he’s been arrested for violating the guidelines of his probation.

According to courtroom footage recovered by TMZ, Johnson failed to report to his probation officer on multiple occasions and was taking too long to complete his court-ordered batterer intervention classes.

In the video, Chad can be seen pleading with the judge, expressing that he wouldn’t blatantly disobey his probation officer, but she wasn’t buying it.

“It was a total misunderstanding… I’m not sure how that got misconstrued, but I wouldn’t blatantly not show up. I was doing everything I was supposed to do. I haven’t had any problems. I haven’t been in any trouble. I didn’t do any of this on purpose,” Chad calmly told the judge.

The judge, however, proceeded to question why it’s taken him over seven months to complete his 26-week batterer intervention program.

In the end, the judge determined that 35-year-old Johnson was in violation of his probation and ordered that he be arrested and jailed. According to reports, bond has been set at $1,000. Although it’s only Monday, it might be safe to say that he’s officially having the worst week ever.

Well, this isn’t good.

Popular New York City DJ Mister Cee was arrested on Thursday night after he was allegedly caught trying to solicit a male prostitute, according to the NY Daily News. Unfortunately for Cee, the “prostitute” was actually an undercover cop.

Cee, known for his “Throwback at Noon” and “Friday Night Live” shows on Hot 97 as well as his legendary connections with Notorious B.I.G and Big Daddy Kane, allegedly approached the man on Broadway and Madison Street in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn.  As the news started to spread of his arrest, residents of the area tweeted that the section is known for its “women and men of the night.”

This isn’t the first time Mister Cee, real name Calvin Lebrun, was arrested for lewd acts. In 2011, he  was arrested for receiving oral sex from a man in a parked car.  He plead guilty to loitering for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.

An unfortunate situation indeed.

Clearly, the Hot 97 family stands by Mister Cee  during what is clearly a troubling time. Mister Cee has been on Instagram most of the weekend responding to fans who’ve been fairly positive in their comments and show of support.

On Monday morning, around 7:45 am, Cee will join the Hot 97 morning show (Black, Puerto Rican & Jew) for a conversation about what happened. Well, as much as he can share. It should be interesting.

Hopefully, Mister Cee’s June court appearance will settle the legal issue and he can move forward and deal with any emotional issues, if any, he has going on.

Juanita Bynum better start calling on the Lord harder than she ever has before because the televangelist preacher could sure use him on her main line right now. According to a Dallas Crime Blog, she spent the night in the Lew Sterrett Justice Center Thursday night after police arrested her on a warrant for failure to appear in a Dallas civil proceeding against her.

According to the site, Juanita, who resides in Georgia, was booked in at the jail about 10:30 p.m. Thursday and was released Friday after she appeared in a Dallas courtroom to answer questions in the case, which relates to a 2007 judgment ordering her to pay $140,000 to ALW Entertainment. Obnoxious TV reports that promoter Al Wash of ALW Entertainment paid Juanita a $100,000 advance to star in a stage play that she never did. He sued her and won and Juanita was allegedly ordered to make payments to him, which she has not done. That, on top of missing her court appearance to explain why she hasn’t been paying, is what caused a warrant to be issued, and her subsequent arrest.

Wash’s attorney, David Small seems to be confident the case will be resolved soon, telling the crime blog:

“[Juanita] has disclosed the whereabouts of her assets and her business dealings.”

Sounds like Al is going to get his money one way or another. Juanita, stay prayed up girl!

If one of us had the opportunities Gucci Mane has had since coming into the music industry, there’s no telling what levels we may have reached by now.

But we weren’t and he was but all he can do is keep getting locked up.  According to TMZ, Gucci was released from an Atlanta jail on Friday after serving a short stint (he went in on March 26th) for hitting a man in the head with a bottle while in the club promoting his mixtape.

Unfortunately for him, Gucci never got a chance to attend what was likely yet another “welcome home” party in his honor because he was arrested on Saturday! This time, the police got him for a probation violation.

While authorities did not say on what grounds he violated his probation (they probably hadn’t sorted that out yet), they say it wasn’t related to the assault arrest.

Seriously, enough is enough.  Maybe Gucci Mane really just cannot stay out of jail. He’s always had legal problems, even before he hit the music industry, so it is possible that he’s just conditioned at this point to do things that will land him in jail.  It’s obvious that record labels, show money and being able to take of his family aren’t enough to keep him out of trouble.

I guess we’ll see what happens next with this probation violation.

Now when someone like MC Hammer is arrested, you know something in the milk might not be clean.

The former rapper turned businessman was arrested Friday night in Dublin, CA for obstruction an officer, according to CNN.

He was taken to the Santa Rita jail where he was booked and release for not only obstruction but also for resisting an officer. The Dublin police department says that Hammer was driving with an expired registration in a vehicle where he wasn’t the registered owner.

However, since social media is the perfect outlet for celebrities to let people know what’s going on with them, Hammer took to Twitter to address the situation. He says he was racially profiled and he is not pleased:

A department spokesman said when the officer asked Hammer questions, he became argumentative and refused to answer questions.

Now, we don’t know the full truth is but can anyone remember the last time MC Hammer got into legal trouble, besides the bankruptcy situation from years ago?  People do have mental lapses and it often results in bad situations but this sounds a littlr weird.

Hammer was cited and will have to appear in court next month; police will then decide whether or not they’ll file charges against him.

Why in the world does the city of Los Angeles keep allowing Frick and Frack to run aimlessly around with no supervision?

Okay, so we just reported this morning that Katt Williams was arrested Friday on child endangerment charges. Well, hours after he was released – hours – it appears he was a primary witness in a huge brawl involving his friend and tour manager, Suge Knight.

There are no details as to what exactly started the fight but someone sent a video in to TMZ where you clearly see him in some type of heated “situation” with a group of people. After a few security people are able to break things up (with one young man ending up on the ground), Suge walks a few feet away and ends up punching someone else in the face.  We can only assume that the person must have said something Suge didn’t like because Suge landed the first punch.

Katt Williams was hiding between dumpsters during the exchange and once blows were thrown, he was ordered by someone who looks to have been part of his security team into a black truck. They immediately sped off.

As the video continues, other security guys are urging Suge to get into a white truck in order to leave the scene. Without giving notice to the packed parking lot of onlookers, Suge sped off and almost hit quite a few people.

How do these two find so much trouble? Suge is almost 50 years old and Katt is knocking on the door of 40 – when does this end? If you can’t figure out how to avoid having a fight at those ages, you don’t ever need to go out. I would say “grow up” but somehow, that doesn’t seem applicable.

Just last month Bobby Brown was bragging about being 22 days sober while simultaneously denying that he checked out of rehab early. Now with news that the New Edition singer has been arrested for yet another DUI, that point seems null and void. According to TMZ:

Law enforcement sources tell us, Brown was pulled over around 1AM when police observed the singer driving erratically on an L.A. street.

According to law enforcement sources, officers approached Brown’s vehicle and detected a strong odor of alcohol — at which point they asked Brown to get out of his car.

We’re told Brown performed a field sobriety test, but didn’t do very well — so he was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He’s currently being booked.

Though it’s much easier to get a DUI than some would think (just hit up a happy hour for one drink, drive home, and see what happens if you get pulled over) but the trouble here is this isn’t Bobby’s first time being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence — this year. Almost 7 months ago to the date, Bobby was arrested for a DUI in Reseda, CA after blowing between a 0.08 and 0.12 when pulled over.

A judge may give you a harsh slap on the wrist the first time you mess up but two DUIs in one year, plus a history of drug and alcohol abuse and rehab? New Edition might have to rework their material again because I don’t see Bobby being available for tour anytime soon. He needs to check into rehab for one of their lengthier stays.

Whoever busted out Lil Scrappy about being on probation during the “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta” reunion straight foreshadowed the rapper’s current legal situation. According to Scrappy’s Twitter timeline and TMZ, he has been locked up for a probation violation, but it’s not because he was fighting on the show, it sounds like it has something to do with narcotics.

As TMZ tells it, Scrappy was picked up on the side of the road in Atlanta and brought in for this reason:

Scrappy is on probation stemming from a marijuana conviction in 2008.

He was sentenced to 5 years probation for the weed bust … and was ordered to abstain from the use or possession of any alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs.

He was also ordered to complete an alcohol/drug education program and was ordered to perform 240 hours of community service.

According to official records … at the time Scrappy was arrested for weed, he was also popped for carrying a concealed weapon, obstruction of officers and fighting. He was sentenced to 1 year probation for each of those offenses, but they ran concurrently.

Oddly, Scrappy (or someone running his page) tweeted the arrest news at 5:15pm yesterday, writing:

Around 11pm last night, his management sent out the following message:

 Lil Scrappy is OK, we’re working to get him out asap. Please keep him in your prayers. (Management) #FreeLilScrappy

There’s no update yet on whether Scrappy is still behind bars, I just wonder whether his ride-or-die fiancee Erica has his back through this — if not we know Mama Dee is going to clown. Welp, #FreeLilScrappy

Is Nene’s son Bryson suffering from spoiled child syndrome because I really don’t understand why this boy continues to have problems with the law.

Starcasm.net is reporting that the real housewife of Atlanta star’s oldest child was arrested again July 5. The cause appears to be a probation violation so he didn’t necessarily commit any more crimes—in a sense. And not that we really want him to be a hardcore criminal but it’s pretty ridiculous that his arrest prior to this happened around this same time last year when he was caught stealing Mach 3 razors from a local Walmart. While I’d appreciate if he shaved too I’m pretty sure he didn’t have to resort to stealing and could have asked his “very rich” momma to cough up $7.89 so he could groom himself.

Prior to that incident, Bryson did have more serious charges placed against him which landed him on probation in the first place. He was arrested twice in 2010, once for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a weapon, and a second time for marijuana possession. He was also reportedly in a nightclub brawl in Atlanta a few months ago which left him hospitalized with a shattered jaw and multiple broken bones in his face.

Bryson’s latest probation violation is his second stemming from the 2010 charges—the first being that shameful Walmart situation. Given his fondness for being a repeat offender, it’s likely he could face some jail time this time around. Nene better work that magic she so famously alludes to when it comes to getting people on RHOA to get her son out of the criminal justice system, although maybe time in jail is exactly what he needs.

Apparently even Chicago judges know Dwyane Wade’s ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches is crazy because she just got checked in a major way during a court hearing this week.

Siohvaughn had to appear before Cook County Associate Judge Helaine Berger Tuesday regarding her arrest nearly two weeks ago when she neglected to return her sons to D Wade’s custody the day before Father’s Day. After she pulled that stunt, Dwyane called the police and filed an emergency motion to have his ex-wife’s visitation rights totally revoked. While judge Berger delayed her decision during the follow-up hearing, she did issue this warning to Siovaughn, according to the Chicago Sun-Times:

“If you tell them, ‘Your daddy got me arrested,’ I take away visitation. The children should not be in the middle.”

Ouch.

During the heated hearing, Siohvaughn pleaded the Fifth while her attorney accused Dwyane, who was absent, of being too busy to appear in court. Judge Berger decided she needed more time to weigh the facts and put off ruling on the matter until July 9. In the meantime though, she told Siohvaughn that she’s not allowed to spend time with her kids in Chicago until she issues a ruling. The odds definitely don’t appear to be in her favor, especially since she already lost full custody a year ago. She appears to be on her way to not having any rights to her sons at all.
