Last week, we told you about the outrageous petition started by a Brooklyn woman begging Beyoncé and Jay Z to comb their daughter’s hair.

“As a woman who understands the importance of hair care, it’s disturbing to watch a child suffering from the lack of hair moisture,”  the petition reads. “The parents of Blue Ivy. Sean Carter A.K.A Jay-Z and Beyoncé has failed at numerous attempts of doing Blue Ivy Hair. This matter has escalated to the child developing matted dreads and lint balls. Please let’s get the word out to properly care for Blue Ivy hair.”

It didn’t take long for the petition to gain traction and naturally, it received a ton of negative criticism. The creator of that petition has since been identified as a woman by the name of Jasmine Toliver and y’all know the Beygency let her have it. Now, she’s insisting that the petition, which has garnered 5, 186 signatures to date, was just a joke.

“I’m just so over with society!” she exclaimed in a Facebook post. “Obviously the petition was a joke! It just goes to show you how dumb people really are to believe I would really deep down in my heart start a petition to comb her hair and be DEAD SERIOUS! Your suppose to laugh at stuff like that. Shake your head and keep strolling. A discussion with 4 friends and a joke when I said ‘I’m going to start a petition to get this baby hair combed’ turned global!!!

I guess petition sounds important like its judicial. Something that has to be notarized.. Like the courts or police officers has to be involved.! Like its a subpoena! Like if it does get a billion signatures a change will ACTUALLY HAPPEN!!!!! Lol yo it just goes to show people will fall for anything! Especially a petition as stupid as that! Really “COMB HER HAIR” lmao this was genius! I mean I knew I needed to be on somebody television one day because I come up with some crazy topics and jokes but DAMN.

My petition has put the damn world at a stand still. Yes the baby needs her hair done I’ll stick by that.! Tuh! But the petition is obviously a joke and thanks to everyone who had common sense to realize it. Doesn’t mean anything but a laugh among friends and family member when I pointed out that it was a mess. But again I’m done with society it’s so easy to get blood sucked into it and brainwashed. I’m going to CONTINUE TO BE ME! NOTHING WILL CHANGE. My thick skin got me through this hilarious experience! I was raised in a no nonsense household and tell it how it is. That’s exactly what I did.! Thank god for alllll of my friends and family members on FB on and off to agree with me and seen the humor in it. I made it baby!!! Google me b*tches! Lmao!”

Ironically, just days after writing that post, she shared a screenshot from MTO that showed Blue Ivy rocking a ponytail on Father’s Day and took credit for getting Blue’s hair combed.

“I saved her life. She gone thank me when she gets older. As we can see it petitions work! Power to the people!”

We’re not exactly sure why she thought any of this would be funny, but okay.

More importantly, is this ignorant bxtch aware of shxt other then what’s on gossip websites? There are an OVERABUNDANCE of children in this country who are TRULY being abused by neglectful parents, as well as kids who don’t have any secure sources of food except for free breakfast/lunch at school. Blue Ivy is not being neglected AT ALL. So why not create a PUBLIC petition to increase federal funding for more social workers with better training and more nutritious free breakfast/lunch programs as opposed to making huge “joke” petition out of a baby’s natural hair? If she has SO little sense of proportion or common sense, why can’t she just mind her OWN freaking business? Anyone who has so little business of their OWN to take care of, OBVIOUSLY needs to get some f**king therapy and figure out why the f**k they have no life.

  • mmmdot

No, she was raised in a “no fxcking sense” household if anyone in her family encouraged her to think mean-spirited shxt like this is socially acceptable. “Telling it like it is” in a situation where it wasn’t warranted to say ANYTHING AT ALL just doesn’t like her NATURAL HAIR. She is well-fed, clean, and is obviously not being neglected–which is child abuse. So again, I ask why she create a PUBLIC petition about this child a “joke” when it’s not going to bring about ANY productive result, and not expect to get a backlash from people who ACTUALLY have common sense, a sense of proportion, and REAL LIVES.

  • Ber Wilso

I think that the fact that it’s such a big deal is HILARIOUS! I could point out that this lady has a severe lack of common decency but the simple fact that this issue is a news-worthy controversy has left me needing to comment.

  • adrienne

I personally think her hair is cute more mothers should start leaving they children’s hair in it’s natural state, but it should be healthy

  • ImJustSayin

I must say im enjoying all the comments from the Beyhivers and Beylievers who think the girl should be punished hard for the petition. I wonder if this is about a “poor” baby or Beyonce

  • PB

It wouldn’t surprise me if Beyonce never post another pic of Beautiful Blue. Thanks Jasmine Toliver…now please go out and do something positive in the world aka you noisy Mrs Jenkins on the block always the one whispering in church and cut eyes at folks. You are a Bully. Shame on you.

  • PolkaDots

hahahha – “I made it baby!!! Google me b*tches! Lmao!” — Classic!

  • TruthSpeaks

Whatever, it just show that people like that have way too much time on their damn hands. We have more pressing issues to worried about in our communities and the petition creator talking about this was a joke? Really about a natural hair style on a two year old than had the nerve to suggested it probably was a lack of hair moisture. How you know, you in Beyoncé’s house to watch how she does Blue Ivy’s hair? This was a diss at Beyoncé/Jay Z just admit it. I swear there are more morons around now than there was ten years ago who don’t think clearly before they put something out for the whole world to read about little kids/babies when they’re trying to write a joke…..which end up becoming a failure. I’m no fan of Beyoncé OR Jay Z but I can read right between the lines how low this woman insulted a toddler to diss the parents.

  • Ms.D19

This petitioner has way too much time on her hands!!! She better find a new hobby that nutty a** Beyhive is scary!!!
On another note, I am hoping that maybe Beyonce understands the pressure and judgement that Black women face with their hair and is simply trying to raise a little girl that grows up knowing that her hair is just fine the way it grows out of her head without augmentation or addition. I wish more of us (myself included) had been raised to not have such an attachment and reverence for hair. It’s just hair-you can lose it at anytime and if it goes you must still know that you are beautiful.

  • PrettyBrownEyes

All I can do is shake my head at some of these comments. People are commenting about race, self worth, black stigmas…so on and so on. The topic at hand is Beyoncé combing her child’s hair. That’s it. The petition was in bad taste, but it was the truth. She didn’t say anything about it being styled, braided, or anything. It was simply, run a darn comb through that child’s hair. My mother NEVER let me go out in public that way…whether she was exhausted or not. She understood that, no matter how fly SHE was, I represented her. Her comments were directed at the parents, not child. Idol worshippers get on my nerves.

    • ImJustSayin

thank you now someone is really seeing where im coming from

    • mmmdot

She created a PUBLIC PETITON about a child having NEGLECTED matted, linty hair as a “joke” when it’s a false accusation and not going to bring about ANY productive result. It’s not just that she made a “joke”, she used a public petition to to make a “joke’ when we have real children who are ACTUALLY being abused by neglectful parents. One of the MAJOR signs of child neglect is for a baby to have a lack of hygiene, like MATTED, LINTY HAIR. This is what happens when ignorant people don’t read ANYTHING but what they see on gossip sites.

  • Me

It was not a joke (she’s just feeling stupid since PR defended Beyonce
and now she’s second-guessing what she did), but either way it was
directed at the parents, not the child. Most people will think in
whatever way the writers tell you to. When they first wrote on this
petition they started it by saying that the petitioner should mind her
own business. So for the love of Beyonce, many of you agreed with the
writers (to the neglect of the child). AGAIN, for people who can’t think
for themselves, as simple as this “issue” was – the petition was
directed as the parents not an insult to the child. Blue is not
responsible for her own hair. This is so simple. And you know good and
well that that child’s hair is most often unattended to. Also, SO many
people made similar remarks on Blue’s hair WAY before this petition
went out, so I don’t know why so many of you are acting brand new right
now. Lol Have a nice day.

  • TraceyC

So no one else thought it was funny? That baby did need her hair done. She didn’t need a weave, a relaxer or a hot comb just some water and olive oil would have done the trick.
If I was them a simple, “Sorry that we didn’t take the time to comb her hair after a 16 hour flight to Japan, after our , sold-out concert, after our lunch with (fill-in-the blank head of state). We’ll get right on that” and kept stepping.
It’s not mean to the kid. She can’t do her own hair yet. That is totally on the parents, their friends, fam, handlers or whoever they travel with.

    • ImJustSayin

thank you i wouldnt have tried to say it was a joke either. its about parenting and not making excuses. and the bey worshippers out here quick to defend her instead of #BeingReal

    • mmmdot

I just wonder if Ms. Oliver ever thought, ummm this might not be funny! With all the scrutiny Black women go thru about their hair and how it “SHOULD” look you would think she would be a bigger person. But why come for a child? if that’s really how you feel why not come for an adult with that type of hair? BTW>>>>its only right you post a pic of yourself so you can be open to the same degree of degradation as a poor toddler!!!!

  • lil

YOU are the stupid one! You need to get a life.

  • lele

Ms. Toliver is just trying to save face. Hoping Jay-Z and/or someone from the “Illuminati” does not come after her. It never ceases to amazeme how people, particularly grown ups, think what they post on a social media forum, especially about someone’s baby, would not garner criticism. Now, its, ” I was joking…”. But who Ms Toliver to talk about a child’s hair? My neice has twins that are 8 months and she does NOT comb their hair either, but they still are cute as HELL!!!!(really). They have the rest of their lives to be talked about; have to primp, wash, and comb their hair to make themselves look what is considered “presentable” to the world. PLEASE let these children enjoy being spoiled and carefree??? And lay off the mothers. We have enough on our plate just being women, mothers, wives, sisters, caregivers to so many. You would think Ms. Toliver would understand that, IF she is a woman.

  • Toni Jones

This shows that masses of black people are still struggling with their hairs true Identity.

  • Joan

I’m sure she changed her mind after people started criticizing her looks! After I Googled her, I thought she had a lot of nerve from the picture Google had of her. Your 15 minutes are up!

  • beyonceisajoke

    still…comb the kids nappy hair.

    • dee

After you come back from Africa, told the parents over there to comb their daugthers hair. Sorry, if you come back….wearing an afro is natural.even for a baby. Why do she need 50,000 barrettes and beads in her head? Beyonce has a beautiful baby.

      • ImJustSayin

yes she is gorgeous, no need for hair bows, i love natural hair too, was natural myself for years but a comb is always nice. the pic above looks like someone made an effort to comb her head. the one on the petition does not

    • Guest

coming from a person who had natural hair for years i dont oppose how anyone chooses to wear their hari ie: natural, relaxed, etc however i still made and effort to comb my hair or something along the lines of caring how i looked.

    • mmmdot

Still…you should shut the hell up, ignorance.

  • ImJustSayin

Hmm I wonder if this wasnt jayz or beyonce daughter would people be so “offended” SICK OF THE FAKERY everyone who felt so passionate about this probably wouldnt have cared AT ALL if this was the child of regular working middle class folk who bank account was at 50k or something. YASSS SHE NEEDED HER HEAD COMB!!! no its never nice to talk about a baby but PUHLEASSEEE save the drama okay! cause if yaw saw a mom walk down the street that wasnt famous folks would be like COMB HER HEAD and then maybe call her a bad parent especially if her head was tight and her kids hair wasnt. SICK OF THE DOUBLE STANDARDS IN THIS SOCIETY. Folks have the right to their opinions. LOL but next time maybe we can just say the opinion and not make a global petition haha cause we all know folks get touchy about they celebrity/dieties

AND, she wasn’t talking bad about the baby – just simply asking the parents to comb her hair. Simple!

      • ImJustSayin

OKAY, SOME FOLKS WOULD GET OFFENDED AS IF YOU ARE ATTACKING THE CHILD THATS WHY I SAID THAT. I AGREE IT IS SIMPLE. SOMETHING A SIMPLE COMB BRUSH GREASE AND WATER COULD FIX TOO :-)

  • Ill Stupido

Well, Ms.Jasmine Toliver you are what we call a CYBER BULLY!! now you are saying your petition was just a joke?? Really did you receive some death threats perhaps that is why you are saying Now that it was a JOKE?? How do you explain the picture of Blue Ivy above? her hair looks pretty good. WHY NOT TRY STARTING A PETITION FOR CHANGE THAT WILL MAKE THIS WORLD A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE Hmmm Here are some suggestion for YOu??? Child sextrafiking, battered women, hunger

  • Stacy D. Smith

It WAS a joke. The grammar of the petition was horrendous.

  • AJ

Beyoncé does not know how to style her childs hair because it is natural. Beyoncé has not has natural hair for 10 years now, only weave and horse hair. Give her a break, real hair and how to take care of it is new to her. Also are there any pictures of this childs face, most seem to be profile or back of her head.

    • Bebe

Beyonce could pay someone else to do her daughter’s hair if she wanted to. I’m sure she’s got a pro hairstylist on speed dial.

      • AJ

I am sure you are right, but what does that say about a mother who should be bonding and nurturing her child. There are just some things in life a parent and mother and father NEED to do with their children.

      • ImJustSayin

        #True

      • Me

You have a point, Bebe. So, why hasn’t she?

  • Caroline Mcclain

She has no common sense of was a joke. Anything put online is not all a joke at all. She should have given suggestions on hair care instead of the stupid petition.

  • Donna Baccaro

Hahaha I love the, “Thats my story and I’m sticking to it!” attitude!! Boo-hoo did you hurt Queen B’s feelings OR did you embarrass her because her kids hair looks like hell? The best part is that they actually took the time to find you!! lol They are so self centered, egotistical and totally insecure!

    • ImJustSayin

I agree. All of the BEYlievers out there probably having a fit over some celebrities who aint paying non of they bills. If beyonce can have that head comb 24/7 she can pick the naps out blu head. and no this isnt “CYBER BULLYING” THIS IS JUST BEING REAL/ #SayinWhatSomeThankin #BOOM

  • Steph Lewis

Seriously? Joke my azz ! She’s back pedaling.

  • Bry Shonyea

Isn’t Mama Tina a hair stylist.? I’m sure she knows a little bit about hair. Also she’s two.. Her hair hasn’t even really came in yet. While she starting a petition (my b it’s just a “joke”) there are other two year old who have no hair because of cancer. I say.. It’s none of nobody’s business what goes on w/ that child’s head. && it shouldn’t be an issue anyway.

  • Pregnant Pen

It would have been nice if they had taken the time to teach grammar and word usage in that no nonsense household the fake petitioner says she grew up in. The petition should not have been started if it was in reality a joke. It could have been used to highlight the fact that African American and African women historically hold hair care in high esteem and have proudly used hair style as a communication tool. (space too small for a history/culture lesson) Seeing the child of obviously capable people go about with ungroomed hair is disconcerting. Groomed natural hair is not unkempt, nor is it stretched and styled in an unhealthy manner or otherwise abused. Most parents take pride in their children looking well cared for, it is just puzzling why these two seem oblivious. I think it is the watering down of healthy African American values and traditions, the younger generations are not under the same stigma nor do they possess the same cultural values as the older generation. In my era, an auntie, cousin or somebody would have gotten a hold of the baby’s head and handled it with a reminder to the parents as to who and what they represent. No shade to Blue, but she is not going to like seeing pictures of her being presented to the public looking like she does not belong to major players in today’s music scene. JS

    • 7thangel

healthy African American values and traditions?

i would say the hair obsession is far from healthy. the fact that a lot of the more problematic stuff from yesteryear is still with us is unfortunate (same with colorism, etc)

      • Rosa

“The watering down of healthy African American values and traditions????” What a bunch of crap! Half of these pictures were probably taken by creeps that constantly follow this family around to try and get photos so that they can sell them for money. I’ve seen several pictures of Blue with her hair looking really nice. All kids have days when their hair is not done. I have them but my mom took good care of my hair. Leave the kid alone. Stop acting like celebrities are Gods that have to be flawless with flawless children in every pic. They are working parents like many of us and deserve respect. The kid eats, has clean clothes and is loved. Have a Coke and a smile and shut the F*** up!!!!

    • Jazzy

I totally agree with you! The PARENTS have a responsibility to that child! It was NEVER about Blue Ivy, it was about BEYONCE and JAY Z letting the Baby look unkempt while they dressed in style!!! (No shame on the baby! Shame on the parents)

  • https://www.facebook.com/SerendipityBeck?ref=hl Rebecca M

It’s a bad “joke” about a 2-year old, so shut the hell up now. Hopefully, you’ve learned a lesson from this.

    • Me

It was not a joke (she’s just feeling stupid since PR defended Beyonce and now she’s second-guessing what she did), but either way it was directed at the parents, not the child. Most people will think in whatever way the writers tell you to. When they first wrote on this petition they started it by saying that the petitioner should mind her own business. So for the love of Beyonce, many of you agreed with the writers (to the neglect of the child). AGAIN, for people who can’t think for themselves, as simple as this “issue” was – the petition was directed as the parents not an insult to the child. Blue is not responsible for her own hair. This is so simple. And you know good and well that that child’s hair is most often unattended to. Also, SO many people made similar remarks on Blue’s hair WAY before this petition went out, so I don’t know why so many of you are acting brand new right now.

      • https://www.facebook.com/SerendipityBeck?ref=hl Rebecca M

Even if the petition is directed at the parents, it’s in reference to a 2 year-old’s hair, and it actually does insult the little girl. The woman who first wrote the petition is now saying it was a joke. I have no idea the condition of Blue Ivy’s hair. I am not aware of all the similar remarks previously made about her hair. However, I do believe that composing a petition to point out the state of a toddler’s hair is in poor taste.

  • Stephanie Aghahowa

And it’s no longer just a joke between family and friends once you post it on the internet. Think before you press “send.”

  • Stephanie Aghahowa

she’s just stupid. how do we know it’s a joke? how do we know YOU’RE not as stupid as you’re accusing us of being, and that you weren’t, in fat, sincere in starting this petition? also, another thing that, again, stupid people forget is that when you type or text something, the TONE is lost, so we have no idea what you really mean behind what you say because we can’t hear you say it!!! so how are were supposed to know it’s a joke???

  • Miguel Chavez

Oh, this was hilarious, alright! Hope she thinks the same when / if someone sometime makes a joke like this about HER child…

    • Me

It was not a joke against a child, it was a petition to the child’s parents, and it was out of concern. People can disagree – that’s fine, but think beyond how articles tell you to interpret things. What the lady wrote was not mean, just something you all disagree with. Simple.

  • kita

At the beginning and the end of the day we all ways leave the kids out of it. Kita love the kids, so I have to say this: Its been this way for years some people will break their childs neck to comb their hair. I have witnessed a child damn near get beat down to get her hair combed, I don’t believe its worth it either, keep it washed, greased, and combed OUT and I say she’s good.

    • corazon

i agree,i love blue ivy’s wild afro ,i see it as chic and effortless,i did not see anything wrong with her hair,so long as the hair is clean and moisturized, tht is good enough for any parent -i think an afro is the best hairstyle for a toddler heck for anyone
as for this daft woman her response just showed she wanted attention and fame
and as forthe 5000 people who signed- total daftness

      • az

But you’re taking about it too so you are daft too.

  • Annalytical

Although I found the idea of the petition appalling, I’m intrigued by the dichotomy between Ivy’s natural locks and Beyonce’s blonde, waist length weave.

    • me

Blue is a baby and Beyoncé is fully grown adult…does that help with your dichotomous issue…I hope so because I seemed perplexed over this very simple issue…

      • Me

I think you missed the point.

  • arealsouthernbelle

Now that the joke is on her, I wonder if she is laughing as hard as she did when she started such a ridiculous petition. If it wasn’t serious to her, why do such a stupid thing? As I stated before, this is about her dislike for Beyonce. She is not concerned about a child that she doesn’t know. If she didn’t know before, she gone learn today. Beygence (sp) does not play.

    • az

Beyonce finally did her child’s hair. Beyonce folded as far as I am concerned.

      • Britney Robinson

When was this are you talking about that old pic? I’ve seen blu’s hair look nice so obviously someone combs it on occasion, but when she is playing and at home why does her hair need to look nice, I have nappy messy looking hair in pictures as a child too. EVERYONE DOES black white Hispanic. And how come we never get on white people for not combing their kids hair it automatically gets to be “done” because they have a better grade of hair? I’ve seen white kids with messy hair too, no one says anything.

        • Me

“Better grade of hair”, Britney? You people never think for yourselves. She’s lying to say this petition was a joke. It was serious, and it was not criticism towards the child, but the parents. Too bad most people couldn’t see that and that the petitioner folded!

          • Britney Robinson

Calling me “you people” is racist. First off you don’t know me or my family background. Pray tell what people you are referring to, as I identify myself as a diverse unique individual one race does not define me. I never said it wasn’t serious, I mean where did you get that from can you not read? And even if it was towards Beyonce and Jay Z who cares! Her hair is beautiful and looks fine. So they don’t micro manage it everyday, I think little girls with their hair all pulled tight and straight looks painful and as a tender headed personwho knows what it feels like first hand, it is painful.

            • Me

I meant ignorant people who choose not to think for themselves. You shouldn’t even ASSUME that I was speaking in terms of race. I’m an African American woman with natural hair honey, so you’re not pulling that reverse psychology mess with me. I stated in another comment that people immediately took an idea of the intentions of the petitioners based on what the writers of these articles tell them to think. When the first article came out about this petition, it started off stating that the petitioner is someone who can’t mind her own business. People then followed that idea, instead of understanding that the petition wasn’t even worded in a way to speak down on the child, but to ask that Beyonce (well kempt haired self) would do “something” to her own child’s hair. MANY people spoke on this and even joked about it way before the petition came out. Oh, but to speak on something sounding racist, I don’t know what your background is but you have some nerve. Did you NOT type above that, “And how come we never get on white people for not combing their kids
hair it automatically gets to be “done” because they have a better grade
of hair?” Honey you are seriously confused – doing nothing but defending Beyonce because she’s PROBABLY your favorite singer, not realizing how that basically means “shoot, forget taking care of the child’s hair – neglect her – I’m defending Beyonce no matter what”. Explain why it’s okay for her to spend so much time and money on her own hair and then make excuses, using the child’s age, as to why her own child’s hair is not simply moisturized or simply styled. I’m pretty sure it would take less time to do Blue’s hair than Beyonce’s weave, which takes more hours. No excuses. Beyonce can sing and perform, but don’t use that to defend her against her own poor child.

              • Me

So, basically, according to you, Britney, white people have a “BETTER” grade of hair. Lol

                • Britney Robinson

No I said that because no one every gets of white people not combing their kids hair on a everyday bases and why is that is it because they believe that white people have a better grade of hair. If Blue Ivy’s hair was not natural and afrocentric no one would say anything if they were pulling her hair and putting it in tight braids people wouldn’t say a word.

              • Britney Robinson

Girl bye. You don’t know me, you are assuming too many things about me. I don’t even like Beyonce like that and I don’t like her music. I don’t like someone talking about a child’s hair because it is rude and shows you have no class.

I can personally identify with the black race, but you can not tell me what I am, only I can tell you what I am. And you didn’t ask you assumed just like you assumed I like Beyonce just like you assumed I don’t think for myself. I do. I have the legal right to think and say what I want. You can’t sue me for forming my own opinion. I am not a Beyonce a fan and will never go to her concert but I think it is ridiculous people think Blu Ivy’s hair isn’t done all the time when we only see a few pictures here and there. And we have seen pictures with her hair looking nice.

Blu Ivy is a baby, was your hair done up nice when you were a baby? Did you go to the salon and get a weave at two. NO. And neither did I. Beyonce hair is done because she is a entertainer she HAS to get her hair done. Blue Ivy is a two year old who doesn’t go anywhere, she is not going to daycare everyday and needs to have her hair “styled”.

It’s so easy to get blood sucked into it and brainwashed when you are doing the blood sucking and brainwashing.

  • Jahsmah

I am so disturbed by this so-called joke. Our daughters are teased enough about their hair. To have a grown woman, with obviously too much time on her hands and very little grammar knowledge, go after a baby is indicative of how black women can tear one another down. Blue Ivy is beautiful. How her parents do or don’t do her hair is up to them. Her parents are superstars and will be hounded on all fronts, but their baby shouldn’t be one of them. #girlbye

    • Jazzy

Exactly, It was NEVER about Blue Ivy, it was about BEYONCE and JAY Z letting the Baby look unkempt while they dressed in style!!! (No shame on the baby! Shame on the parents)

  • Gingertee

Now it’s a joke, but it wasn’t when it started and the creator looks nuts

  • Ebony

I wish she she could put her picture up..lets see her hair>>.It better be all natural and all hers with flowing locks that sparkle in the sun..She is stupid because she said something mean, I wish it would turn around and backfire on her.

  • Mollymae

I want to see what Ms. Jasmine looks like. I imagine she is overweight with some sewn on “Indian” hair.

  • Hellrazor0606

REALLY??? What a sad life she must have!! Let’s see, she thought of a stupid joke about a child and then she took time out of her busy life and created a petition and then told people about it and NOW that everybody is talking about her NOW it was a joke. YEP, she is right, she is a joke.

    • hollyw

Lol ikr, like jokes on YOU, booboo!

  • Al

It more than likely was a joke but it just shows you how dumb the public is by getting swept up in it. No one petitions or tells me what to do with my child’s hair and if you try, I will quickly tell you what to do with yourself.

  • Me

She may have been joking, but the 5k+ people who signed weren’t. Just brush the damn kids hair.

  • C Dr

I think Beyonce knows how to take care of her daughter’s hair.To have this posted all over the internet -really? There are a lot of serious issues to contend with than this……ridiculous….

    • Candace Bynum

I think that she does know how to either do it get someone to do it, however, each picture that she was seen in showed that she didn’t. So the proof was always there in full color. Don’t judge Jasmine for her comment we each have a right to speak on that and from the looks of things start a petition.

  • LoveJoy02

Back-peddling but trying to come off as arrogant… Hopefully she never has a career in PR…

    • WiserWords2

First, she’ll have to learn to master the English language.

  • Karla Tompkins

She’s too dumb to know the difference between “your” and “you’re.” So of course, she’s too dumb to know that picking on a two year old as a so called joke, isn’t funny!

    • az

people pokeat people’s grammar when they dont have any other valid counterpoints. it’s low hanging fruit. Rise Karla

      • Julie

That’s not true. Bad grammar truly annoys me and is a big pet peeve of mine. It drives me nuts to see ‘your’ instead of ‘you’re’ used and other grammar mistakes. It’s not a way to insult someone, it’s truly a disgrace that a grown adult doesn’t know how to use proper grammar.

        • Define2

Add lose and loose to the mix…know the difference people…

    • Candace Bynum

Karla since the two year can’t do her own hair then how was that toward her? Beyoncé’ continually combs her hair even when she doesn’t wear makeup but can’t find someone to do her Blue Ivy’s hair is crazy.

      • Jazzy

Exactly! It was NEVER about Blue Ivy, it was about BEYONCE and JAY Z letting the Baby look unkempt while they dressed in style!!! (No shame on the baby! Shame on the parents)

  • Yvette

A joke? Really? A joke? I wonder if she would have thought it was funny if it was her daughter being ridiculed and dragged all across the internet. These cyber thugs really need to stop it with the foolishness and high jinks. Not everyone finds talking about a toddler’s hair funny. I am not a Beyonce fan or stan or whatever they call themselves, I simply didn’t find any humor in it. I said it once and I will say it again….this is the exact same thing Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas had to endure for wearing a ponytail to point that she went and got a full head of weave when there was nothing wrong with her own hair. When will the shaming stop?

  • Chelle

    That joke sure was corny

  • JustSteph

Well, if it was a joke or not, I appreciate the discussion. I’m not going to change my opinion that it was a mean thing to do…but hey it got the world talking. Honestly, she wrote what some people (including myself) was thinking. I’m a Beyonce fan and I think blue is adorable..but I won’t pretend like I never looked at her head and thought something..I won’t. No it’s not about her texture, it’s about styles.

    • Yvette

You can think whatever you want. No harm in that. At least you didn’t publicly shame a 2 year old.

      • Jazzy

It was NEVER about Blue Ivy, it was about BEYONCE and JAY Z letting the Baby look unkempt while they dressed in style!!! (No shame on the baby! Shame on the parents)

        • PolkaDots

Yes, shame on the SUPER RICH parents and former HAIR SALON OWNING GRANDMOTHER.

    • ItsMissLady2U

I agree, I thought about why in the world they won’t PAY someone to do The Baby’s hair and also commented that, Basically Beyonce spends Thousands and Thousands of Dollars on HER OWN HAIR and should make sure that her Daughter looks up to par also!! She only said what Millions of people were thinking… Comments were directed to Parents not the Child!!! Stop it.

Riiight…it was a joke. Messing around and talking bad about a toddler…yeah…ok.

Yeah….now that EVERYONE of those beehive lunatics has your name, identity, facebook access its a joke…ok.
And that Beyonce ride or die Stan is now following you around (of course you don’t know this) and he’s standing right over your bed in a leotard and heels watching you sleep waitting to put a ring on it. Kinnda like Hannibal Lechter did to Clarice in the movie Hannibal!
Laugh on honey…laugh on. (poor thing just signed her cyber death warrant). lol

    • StraightShooter

The whole “leotard and heels” thing is so hilarious. This entire comment is so funny.

    • NoStans

All anybody is going to do is just sit down.

    • Jahsmah

I’m done! I don’t need to read another comment! You shut it down! #nuffsaid #offeringtime

    • I.am.ShaRee.Amor

all she can hear now is “bzzzzzzzzz” that’s the sound of the beyhive closing in on her!!!! LOL everybody kno that the beyhive goes hard like they paid for it lol!!! she got 20 stans waiting for her to get off work.

    • PolkaDots

LMFAO at GIVING A SH!T about “After they done dragged you through the cyber space streets!” — F^ck Beyonce and her BEY-PSYCHOPATHS.

    • PolkaDots

You are BEYOND PSYCHOTIC dude – you must be one of those BEYONCE RIDE or DIE STANS wearing the LEOTARD and HEELS.

      S^CK a D!CK.

      Signed,
      A person who could GIVE A F^CK

P.S. Tell your goddess to COMB HER MOTHERF^CKING kid’s hair. It looks a mess.

      hahahahahaha

      • lockstress

You need to take your meds dummy. Hooked on phonics CLEARLY didn’t work for you if you think that I am a Beyonce fan, stand or remotely interested in her work. I’ve always said…ain’t a fan but respect her work ethic. Besides…we are talking about a child idiot.
Sorry you didn’t get love in your life…however; I will be damed if ANYONE you ignorant piece of cyber shyt thinks they’re going to disrespect me in any way shape or form
How bout you get some dyck!

        • PolkaDots

“Sorry you didn’t get love in your life…however; I will be damed if
ANYONE you ignorant piece of cyber shyt thinks they’re going to
disrespect me in any way shape or form” —> Disrespect? I already have and at this point we are WELL PAST that…I CRUSHED you so what REALLY are you telling me at this point?

Next, I don’t give a flying F^CK what you think or any other of you D!CK S^CKING BEYDINO fans that find her “work ethic” so admirable. Perhaps you should focus on what is going on in YOUR life or lack thereof.

A Section 8 dwelling, food stamps, and wearing the latest MALAYSIAN SILKY weave style are NOT going to improve YOUR LIFE. And btw, how is that ADMIRATION of Beydino’s “work ethic” working out for you? By the looks of it and your IDIOTIC logic or LACK THEREOF, not too well.

        • PolkaDots

Lastly, I don’t give a f^ck if this article were about YOUR nappy headed kid’s hair — Since you are such a fan why don’t you post a message to Beydino and tell her to COMB HER MOTHERF^CKING kid’s hair.

AND WHILE YOU’RE AT IT, tell her to GET OVER IT. Her kid no longer looks like a doll baby – she looks like her FATHER and no amount of NEGLECT is going to make her LOOK better. It is what it is at this point.

        • PolkaDots

Now to quote your fat, inarticulate, IDIOTA goddess Beydino’s HUSBAND Jay-Z:

          “Well, F^CK YOU…..BEYOTCH” — hahahahaha – Muah. (Now get off your knees, you’re done s^cking my d!ck)

    • mmmdot

“And that Beyonce ride or die Stan is now following you around (of course you don’t know this) and he’s standing right over your bed in a leotard and heels watching you sleep waitting to put a ring on it.” LMAO FOREVER and EVER and EVER! A Beyonce stan *WOULD* be wearing some glitter and heels in the middle of the night waiting to kill someone for insulting their god. If you don’t mind, I’d love your permission to use some variation of this for the next time a Beyhive stan comes at me sideways for criticizing the leader of their cult, lol.

      • lockstress

        You have my blessing. Lol.

    • NAPPY IVY

      She NAPPY. DAT GURL NAPPY!!!
