Still, Kennedi doesn’t view that diagnosis as the end of her story; she sees it as the beginning. “HIV saved my life,” she says now, without hesitation.
Black women are diagnosed with HIV/AIDS at a later date compared to other groups.
"I'm going to say that if you feel as if like you're never going to meet someone you really want to meet, just believe in yourself," said 8-year-old Amara Nenguke.
