Did you have any reservations when they told you were going to be on the show, like I don’t want to be on the show, looking like this?

Oh no. Not at all. I was just worried about having my hair done. They talked about lace-front some kind of bad. Oh my God! This one girl tweeted me and said, “Next time you get a lace-front, you need to cut it. “ I said, ‘Actually it was cut. It was brand new. This stripper I had, he knocked it off. I’m talking about knocked it off. I said I had just bought that lace-front and I was going to get my wear and tear out of it. And the reason why I didn’t have it glued down because the wedding was like in two days. You know what I told her, ‘That lace front made me famous boo.”

Why was it important that you hair look right?

You can’t go on TV with your hair looking any kind of way! I just had to make sure that my hair was done. I didn’t care about my clothes, I didn’t care about what I wore. Cause my sisters they were G’ed up every day on camera. I’m like, “ya’ll know ya’ll frontin’, ya’ll know ya’ll don’t dress like this in real life, every day. These folks are going to know ya’ll stuntin’. I had on my jeans, my little t-shirt. I didn’t care. I was just being myself. As long as my hair was fixed.

Well you know black women and their hair, it’s important.

Okay!
