Morgan Freeman surprised CNN’s audience when he said that successful black men like he and Don Lemon are proof that race no longer holds black men back.
When host Don Lemon asked Mr. Freeman if he thought “race plays a part in wealth distribution or either a mindset that you can’t?”
Morgan immediately responded,
“Today? No. You and I…we’re proof. Why would race have anything to do with it? Stick your mind to what you want to do and go for it.”
