Stacey Dash is being Stacey Dash and lending her opinion where nobody really wants it. The Fox host took to Twitter last night to speak out on the Bill Cosby rape allegations which have the media in a frenzy once again. And being typical Stacey Dash, the actress shared an opinion quite opposite of the status quo, writing:

Though one or two of her followers thanked Stacey for coming to Cosby’s defense, several respondents bashed her for attempting to discredit the mounting number of women who’ve claimed to have been raped at the hands of the comedian. Though it’s not fair to question what Stacey’s experience has been or necessarily judge her for sharing that truth, the 47 year old does have a history of throwing her two cents into the mix just for the sake of attention rather than contributing anything meaningful to the discussion so I think everyone is taking her proclamation with a grain of salt — or dismissing it altogether.

Meanwhile, Raven-Symone, who’s just getting over her own controversy, is asking that she simply be kept out of the mess. After HipHopHangover.com published a story claiming Raven filed molestation charges against her former on-screen grandfather, she was quick to shut down the rumor on Instagram, stating:

I was NOT taking advantage of by Mr. Cosby when I was on the Cosby Show! I was practically a baby on that show and this is truly a disgusting rumor that I want no part of! Everyone on that show treated me with nothing but kindness. Now keep me out of this!

Honestly, there are enough stories from women vocally claiming to have been taken advantage of by Bill Cosby that salacious gossip like this simply isn’t necessary and further takes attention away from where it should be: the alleged victims and the alleged perpetrator. Unless you fall into either of those categories, it’s probably best you not speak on this matter at all right now.

What do you think about Stacey and Raven’s comments?
