Have a feeling that he’s cheating? Did you just know it was the right decision? Never apologize for acting on your instincts. Some of the world’s most successful people have gotten to where they are by listening to their guts.
Looking Flawless
Consider every hater and side eye a compliment. Don’t let anyone stop your shine. The hating only stops when they drag you back down to their level.
Eating Healthy Food
The next time someone makes fun of you for ordering a salad, just smile and nod. They all come asking for healthy recipes when that junk food comes back to haunt them.
Calling B.S.
Never apologize for being the only honest person in the room. Somebody has to tell the truth. It might as well be you.
Pursuing What Makes You Happy
Never forget that this is your life. Even if you have to quit your job, switch schools or move away for your family, you can’t go wrong if you’re doing something that makes you smile. And the people that love you will support you every step of the way.
Being A Grammar Nazi
Getting things grammatically correct? Putting punctuation marks in your text messages? Sorry, not sorry.
Being Successful
Anyone who’s salty that you’re not still on their level is officially a hater.
Wearing A Weave
You bought it so it’s yours. When people start apologizing for dying their hair or painting their fingernails maybe you can start considering saying “sorry.”
Being “Cheap”
There’s nothing wrong with putting something away for later. No one ever said “I wish I saved less money” when it’s time to put a down payment on a house.
Treating Yourself
Don’t be afraid to splurge every once in a while — even when you’re on a budget. Rewarding yourself for your accomplishments is a great way to stay motivated.
Having High Standards
Sometimes people need to get on your level or get out of your way. Never feel sorry for wanting the best for yourself — even if that means breaking up, moving on or finally asking for that raise.
Saying “No”
The next time you feel awkward about letting someone down, think about where you’d be if you said “yes” to everyone’s demands.
Not Knowing How to Cook
There’s nothing wrong with being too busy living life to learn how to cook a three-course meal. Why else would they have invented take out?
For Falling In or Out of Love
The heart wants what it wants and there’s no point in feeling bad about something you have no control over. Say you’re sorry for any feelings caught in the crossfire and then go for what makes you happy.
