In the midst of going back and forth with the experts, who were really trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with him, Brandon interrupted Dr. Viviana while she was asking him about his commitment to his marriage (“Hold that thought”) to say he needed to go to the bathroom. He smiled and got up, not even asking if it was okay that he went, but letting it be known that he was going whether anyone liked it or not. Pastor Cal, who had already been annoyed from waiting on Brandon and being blamed for his work issues, had enough.
