Where Are They Now? Now Defunct “Making The Band” Groups: Da Band and Danity Kane

Babs Bunny

When the group was disbanded by the D, the I, the D, Babs was one of the three individuals Diddy pretended to see something special in and try to keep on Bad Boy (sounds just like how he did Dawn Richard of Danity Kane). The rant-loving diva and fire-spitter was to be part of a duo with Philly rapper Ness, and take the world by storm. However, the two never released an album under the label, and she eventually parted ways with Diddy and Bad Boy for good.

After the fact, Babs became chummy with other slighted female rappers, including Amil, as well as the very talented Lady Luck and Lady of Rage, and the three women tried to create a rap group called FEM (Females Earning Money). Sadly, that fell through and the Babs is said to be back in Brooklyn creating mixtapes to get her voice heard. There was even word that she was trying to put together another female rap group called The Squad, but there’s no word if those plans actually came to fruition. Even if she doesn’t blow up outside the Da Band, I think we can all agree she held her own with the boys.

Everyone blames Diddy and I’m sure he deserves a lot of it, but at the same time he gave these individuals a great platform and a lot of them screwed themselves. I guess they felt they weren’t getting compensated the way they thought they should, but now you’re not getting compensated at all…My thing is if you got it you should be able to move on from BB and make your way, no?

“while having an evening of fun, she slipped and fell, hitting her head heavily on the ground and somehow in the process of helping her Tony got injured.” She slipped and fell on the ground and stabbed her husband by mistake while he was helping her up??? WTF? Really? The police should have arrested them both that night and held them in the tank for a couple of days for telling that stupid lie.

I’m still salty about Danity Kane breaking up. I still listen to their second album.

Choppa’s lambo belonged to his ex-manager. Choppa used to live in an empty rental in atlanta and got kicked out in 2011 for non payment of rent (his manager was paying it but then stopped when they parted ways). The maserati isn’t his either, it was borrowed for a video shoot in LA, actually belongs to the dad of the label owner Choppa was once signed with, but was dropped for getting arrested for a probation violation. He’s a mess with multiple arrests for dumb behavior and facial tattoos thinking he’s Wayne but will probably end up working the drive-thru, Can’t blame Diddy for that.

Even the MOE chain he has on in that picture isn’t his, lol. What a loser.

  • Nope

And what happened to the FIRST group from that show, the group of White girls?
