Tyler Perry has received a lot of criticism for writing about Black women as a Black man--without employing other Black women to do so. The women who play the characters in his show "Sistas" responded saying people critique when they can't do something themselves.
"Sistas" exhibits the confidence we have in our cinema and how fearless and vulnerable we are in our art.
