The spotlight is hard on any relationship
It cannot be easy for a woman to “win” (and it’s a shame we have to use that term) the show and then read the millions of Tweets about how she’s the wrong woman for the guy, how she’s not attractive, how she’s dumb, and all the other mean things the Internet tends to sling. That amount of spotlight is bound to make even the most secure woman feel insecure and act out.
