How much should the gift cost?
The general rule is that the price you spend on the gift should offset your seat at the wedding. So, if you guess the couple spend about $70 per plate (that includes all the booze you can drink and dessert) your gift should be at least $70. If you bring a plus one, you’re looking at a $140 gift.
