You know Lavell Crawford for his days on Comic View, for being a pretty hilarious comedian in general, or from his days playing Huell on Breaking Bad. You know him when you see him because he’s always had a very defining look. He’s been the very big guy with an equally large sense of humor. Well, not anymore — at least in terms of his size.

At the recent Neighborhood Awards in Las Vegas, Crawford had everyone talking after appearing on stage looking a lot smaller. As it turns out, he sought help to deal with his weight. The comedian underwent a gastric sleeve operation and ended up dropping 120 pounds. Since then, he’s been active to keep his weight down, including going to a Brazilian jiu-jitsu gym and using a trampoline. According to The Grio, he finally decided to get his weight in check to continue being present for his family, specifically, his wife and son. As he told Sway in the Morning earlier in the year, “I’m having the sleeve done. I’m 47 and I’ve got a beautiful 5-year-old son that I want to be around for. I’ve got a beautiful wife that I want to be here for. I don’t want to leave her hanging.”

Check out a few recent images of Crawford and be in full awe of the obvious difference. He literally looks like a completely different person:

As he put it at the Neighborhood Awards, “I done moved up in life, moved down in pounds.” Looking good, Lavell!
