Dreads Or Locs?
Not everyone with locs likes when people refer to their hair as “dreads” or “dreadlocks,” as it evokes the negative belief that the hair (and the person attached to it) is disgusting, frightening and dreadful. It might be good to ask or just go with “locs.”
