The story goes that Jimi Hendrix died in 1970 after choking on his own vomit while on drugs. But his roadie, James “Tappy” Wright, has always said that Jimmy’s manager Mike Jeffrey killed him by waterboarding him with red wine. And at least one doctor says this explanation is “plausible.”
