(Washington Business Journal) — Despite countless years of military service to their country — for some, service that has included several tours of war duty — one of the hardest parts of leaving military life is just finding a job.
About 18 percent of veterans stay unemployed for one to three years after they leave military service. For the military’s self-starting problem solvers, though, there’s another option: becoming a government contractor.
