If you ever feel like the distribution of labor is a little lopsided in your group project, on your job or even in your home, I would like to invite you to think of LeBron James and be encouraged. LeBron can’t get no help. We’ve seen it for years. But after last night, during game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals, the point becomes unavoidable. Despite scoring 51 points with 8 rebounds and 8 assists, the Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the Golden State Warriors in overtime. There was a play, in particular, that was particularly unfortunate. With less than 5 seconds in regulation play, the score was tied, J.R. Smith believed his team was ahead and took the ball away from the basket. And the clock ran out.
Naturally, everyone wondered what happened. And during the press conference after the game, one reporter was determined to ask LeBron what he thought about it…three times. His reaction to his time being wasted after a tough loss has become meme worthy. Check it out below.
