Roseanne has, for lack of a better term, been on that bullsh*t for some time now. So while I was a fan of her show in the nineties, I already knew not to engage with the reboot. Despite killer ratings and rave reviews, the show highlights a family of Trump supporters, with a Black grandchild to help sugarcoat it. And I’m just not with that…at all.
The decision proves to be a sound one each and every day. Because despite working with a network as “conservative” as ABC, Roseanne still hasn’t stopped talking trash. In addition to her comments about Oprah, she dressed up as a Nazi and burned cookies that were shaped as people.

Ironically, after her own little game of dress up, she went on to accuse David Hogg, the teenager who survived the Parkland shooting, of throwing up a Nazi salute. A story that was simply untrue.
These words and actions have failed to prevent ABC from airing Roseanne’s show or punishing her in any way the public has been privy to. So, I doubt her latest shenanigan will make a difference either. Still, it’s worth mentioning.
In a tweet she’s since deleted, the television star shared her thoughts on President Obama’s former advisor Valerie Jarrett.

It seems like she was coerced. This is pretty vile. As is so much of Roseanne’s behavior. It’ll be interesting to see how Disney/ABC will handle this situation.
