Anybody else miss the ’90s?
Of all the many perks of that decade, we miss how simple the times seemed. Representation of Black folks in film and television was abundant. And of the many Black men, young and grown, who had the chance to be on television, we had a crush on most of them. As time has passed, we’ve watched some of our favorite crushes grow to be even finer, and continue on with their fame. But there are also some we haven’t seen or been able to keep up with. So, for the sake of Throwback Thursday, hit the flip to see what some of your ’90s crushes are looking like nowadays.
Brandon Quinton Adams
Brandon was Jesse in Mighty Ducks, as well as Kevin in The Sandlot and Aaron on Moesha.

Bumper Robinson
Now a prominent voice actor, Bumper Robinson played Dorian Haywood on A Different World, and appeared on Family Matters. MAN, was he fine!
For the record, Bumper is on Instagram, however, his page is private.
Tyrone Burton
Shame on you if you slept on Robert Townsend’s The Parent ‘Hood. Tyrone Burton played eldest kid T.K. on the WB hit.

Tyrin Turner
If Tyrin looks familiar, it’s because he starred as Caine in the classic Menace II Society.

Khalil Kain
Everyone fell in love with Kain when he played Raheem in Juice, but he was also Maya Wilkes’s husband, Darnell, on Girlfriends.

Fredro Starr
Known for many roles and for his music as a member of Onyx, Fredro Starr was everywhere in the ’90s. However, we all knew and loved him as bad boy bae Q on Moesha.

Brandon Hammond
If you were quite young during the mid ’90s, you may have loved Brandon Hammond. He was pretty much in everything, including Soul Food, Waiting to Exhale, Space Jam and Menace II Society.

Jason Weaver
The Smart Guy star was also in some of our favorite TV movies back in the day, including The Jacksons: An American Dream and Summertime Switch, an undisputed ABC TV movie classic.

Larenz Tate
Larenz hasn’t aged since Menace II Society, The Inkwell, Love Jones, Dead Presidents days — and we are so here for it.

Immature
While we rode for Batman during the early Immature days, it’s good to see that all three men have aged quite nicely.

Ginuwine
Elgin Baylor Lumpkin had everyone lusting with their eyes when he made his debut with The Bachelor in 1996. And even after all of these years, he still gets the ladies worked up.

Leon
We might look at him as Noelle’s daddy (Cynthia Bailey’s daughter) these days, but Leon was zaddy in the ’90s (and still is actually).
