Model Child: Tank’s Daughter Lands Haute Headz Campaign

Smooth R&B singer Tank may be absent on the entertainment scene but his daughter is just making her debut. The ab-alicious artist’s 4-year-old daughter recently completed a photo shoot for the company Haute Headz as a model for their Cameo Queen collection of hair accessories.

Zoey Babbs’ looks show the company’s goal of bringing boldness and elegance back to hair accessories. In one set of prints, the young model rocks a more tomboyish look in a white tank, jeans, and sneakers, with a gold headpiece featuring a jeweled heart. In another set, a pink tutu and Hello Kitty sweater with a silver headpiece make her look more girly and playful.

One thing that’s clear is Zoey is not shy in front of the camera. At four she’s already got a big personality, plus she’s a cutie!

Check out more pics of Zoey’s photo shoot, including a pic with her mother, Zena, on The YBF.

Had you seen Tank’s little girl before? What do you think about the pieces she’s modeling?

SOHH

Spring is in the air (or, it’s coming anyway) and that means it is time for new love. Well, okay…not that kind of love.  This time we’re talking about BROMANCES! For those of you who don’t know bromance is defined as a close, non-sexual relationship between two (or more) men. I know some of you might be thinking “Yeah, can’t happen…not cute” but it really can be fun to watch. Here are a few of our fave celeb bromances…

"Tank"

Yummmm.

Okay, so I don’t know the words to one Tank song (maybe that “I Deserve” song, but just the chorus), so he will have to forgive me for that. But to be honest with you, I don’t go looking for Tank in the hopes of his new CD, a new video, a new song–none of that. I go looking for this fine chocolate man so that I can ogle his Google images. You feel me? Not that his voice doesn’t add to his whole package, but if he sang like Steve Urkel with a cold I would probably still be down. Now, I know my tastes are highly different than others (according to a MN ranter/meanie who wasn’t a fan of my Paul Walker nod last week), so while I’m a big fan of his looks, I’m wondering what you think? But be nice! Enjoy the goodies of almond brown here…so almond-y. (*wink*)

We are all fabulous and deserve nothing but the best in life right? We are grown women, working or going to school, taking care of our responsibilities and living our life on our own terms right? So why are many of us not living our lives as such? Why are some of us playing it safe out of fear of failure or ridicule, while others try to hide their fabulousness to make some folks feel comfortable?  There is nothing wrong with giving yourself a little bit of credit in life and enjoying the fruits of your labor.

Besides what’s all work with no play. To refresh your memory, I’ve listed a few things you definitely deserve and need to have in your life if you haven’t done so already…

The Homewrecker’s Soundtrack

The general consensus is that cheating is socially and morally repugnant. Yet we’d be blind to ignore it’s presence and pervasiveness in our society. So there we have it… cheating. And then there’s music. Music, auditory art that speaks to, reflects and explains the human condition. Art-music in particular- has never been known to shy away from controversial subjects no matter how uncomfortable. Naturally the issue of infidelity, cheating, sneaking, creeping and being the other woman would come up in song. The funny thing is as wrong as we know cheating is, you might find that some of the following songs are your favorite jams. Am I right? Check it out…

Exclusive Interview: Tank Talks Sex, Love and Dating Fans

My extended hand was kindly ignored as R&B singer Tank went for a hug instead of a formal handshake. Even though he was bundled up against the frigid New York temperatures, Tank’s chiseled frame was not hard to detect underneath all those layers.

His fourth studio album “Now or Never” dropped earlier in the day and in less than an hour he would be taking the stage at SOB’s nightclub after an opening performance by Kandi Burruss, whose new solo album was also on its first day of sales.

Animated, happy and very funny (he could have his on television show), Tank sat down with Madame Noire to talk about his new album, whether or not he listens to his own music during sex and why you don’t often see male R &B artists hanging out together.
