I’m pretty sure you’ve seen this scrumptious piece of eye candy before, especially if you’re a follower of Tyler Perry’s films and stage plays. Gentles, a model and actor, has shown up in the films, Diary of a Mad Black Woman and Madea’s Family Reunion in small roles. He’s also had larger roles in Perry’s stage plays, playing Nate in Madea Goes to Jail and Nick Lovett in What’s Done in the Dark. You can also check him out in Jennifer Hudson’s video for “Spotlight.” (That was the jam!) But no matter how serious he wanted us to take him in those scenarios, I have to say, I don’t think I was paying attention to anything other than that gorgeous skin, that banging body, and those beautiful locs! I haven’t seen him in a minute though *sad face* So let’s reminisce on the fine-ness that is Ryan Gentles from some of our favorite photographs, and here’s to hoping he’ll come back on the scene ASAP.

Gotta love playoff time! Not only because the games are such intense nail-biters, but also because of all the fine men that run across our TV screens. Am I right? There are many standout hotties on the teams left in the playoffs, but today I thought we’d profile the very athletic and muscular Andre Iguodala, a small forward for the Philadelphia 76ers (currently going head to head with the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference). Most only know him for his talents, but did you know he was a piece of eye candy too? Check him out!

If you ever doubted that D’Angelo would get back into tip-top shape, both musically and physically, kick yourself. In his first real magazine spread since he last did press for the Voodoo album, D’Angelo is looking as he should: a little older, but a lot of fine. Despite the shocking mugshots we were exposed to after his run-ins with the law over the last few years (my corneas still burn), these few images today of the man behind the neo-soul music we bumped so hard are definitely pleasing to the eye. Thanks GQ!

The singer gets all suit and tie fresh on us for the shoot, and even gives us a bit of that wonderful gaze (and those lips!) that we like to see. I could do without the cigarette in the first shot, but it’s not something I would kick him out of the bed for (as long as he didn’t bring the cigarette into the bed…). As you can tell, I’m glad he’s looking delicious, but I’m more glad to hear the new music he plans to drop soon. His few features on songs with folks like Common and Q-Tip, as well as his own song “I Found My Smile Again” during his reclusive period were nice, but I need an album, boo! Until we can get that in stores, don’t forget that D will be a headliner at this year’s Essence Fest, so you’ll have a chance to see this brown sugar in real time and jam like it’s 1995 again. Pick up the June issue of GQ to get your fix of this beautiful man, and find out what he has to say about the music industry, and how the “Untitled (How Does It Feel?)” video hurt him as a musician. On the last day of the eight-month tour, Questlove says D’Angelo told him, “Yo, man, I cannot wait until this f-cking tour is over. I’m going to go in the woods, drink some hooch, grow a beard, and get fat.” Questlove thought he was joking. “I was like, ‘You’re a funny guy.’ And then it started to happen.That’s how much he wanted to distance himself.”

The first time I really peeped Mehcad Brooks, he was playing Alfre Woodard’s son on “Desperate Housewives.” It’s safe to say that wasn’t a “hot” role for him (as his family was crazy), but when he popped back up on shows like “True Blood” and “The Game,” he was the ultimate eye candy. And it helped that we finally received a better look at that body. His star has risen big time since he had recurring roles on those shows, but the swag and the sex this guy shows off hasn’t changed. As you can see, tonight’s Evening Eye Candy is on the white chocolate side. And not because we just felt it so necessary to change things up, but because, plain and simple, Ryan Gosling is HOT! If you think not, well, that’s cool, but since the days of The Notebook we’ve been giving him the subtle eye. But after films like Crazy, Stupid Love and even his heartbreaking turn in the film Blue Valentine, no more eye. We’re trying to get at that. The 31-year-old Academy Award nominated actor is smart, funny, muscular, and mad successful already. If that doesn’t pique your interest, then nothing will. Or maybe these photos might. Check it!

The multi-ethnic model (that’s what his profile says) is definitely hot stuff with his crazy toned abs and striking good looks. So hot in fact, that your girl Rihanna didn’t mind rolling around in bed with him for her “California King Bed” video (she gets all the fine dudes!). You’ve probably also seen the model in Gap and Izod ads looking delicious and delightful. Tyrese has been a hottie ever since he was first seen singing on that bus for some Coca-Cola (Pepsi is better, but he’s still delicious). He’s definitely better to look at than to listen to, as a few of his rants from time to time have rubbed a few ladies the wrong way. But don’t lie, if Tyrese spit some game to you on the bus, talking about “Always Coca-Cola,” you know you would be down to be his “Sweet Lady.” (I had to do it.) The singer turned Hollywood leading man is definitely one of our faves in the eye candy department, so we couldn’t pass on the opportunity to represent for him. One of my favorite rappers and men in general, Common is one of the few lyricists out there who can make the ladies swoon, sweat, and still talk respectfully about them all at the same time. With his glistening bald head and adorable cheesy smile, he’s as hot as he is talented. So glad to know his “beef” with Drake is over, because I always looked at him as more of a lover than a fighter. And if you haven’t read his book, One Day It’ll All Make Sense, OMG, please do! In honor of Black History Month, instead of showing off the everyday, regular beefcake dude (as much as we adore them), we thought we’d send some love to the beautiful black men from our history who we would have been breaking our necks over back in the day. Okay, maybe not breaking, but at least on the bandwagon for. Muhammad Ali is one of those guys with his random poetry, fast feet and buff body. Time has passed and we know he doesn’t look like the “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee” Ali that people were drooling over 30 to 40 years ago, but the guy still has that charm we all can agree is attractive. Let’s take a walk down memory lane.

Some of our readers have been asking for an Eye Candy gallery on this guy, and here it is! The man, who is everything from Hawaiian to Native American, German, and Irish, is the big, beefy hottie last seen in the movie Conan the Barbarian, and on the shows Game of Thrones as well as The Game (remember that guy Roman that Kelly was having a crazy fling with when the show was on the CW?). I remember him from way back in the day during his Baywatch stint, and while his body has definitely bulked up, he’s still got his rugged good looks face-wise.
