Today is the big day! Rapper Gucci Mane (born Radric Davis) and his love, Keyshia Ka’oir, formerly known as Keyshia Dior, are tying the knot. Just last November, he surprised her by popping the question at an Atlanta Hawks game, and ever since then, the couple has been counting down to this day. Their wedding will be broadcast live on BET via their reality special, Gucci Mane & Keyshia Ka‘oir: The Mane Event.

It’s been a long time coming for both Keyshia and Gucci. They met in 2010, soon after he was released from jail, and she stood by his side while he did another three-year bid before finally being released in 2016. And now that they’re finally side by side again, they’ve been inseparable. But not only that, they’ve both been looking amazing! What’s the secret? Well, for Gucci, he told Revolt last year after his release that he changed his lifestyle completely. He started working out a lot and got on a no-carb diet.
“The day that I got arrested and stopped doing drugs, eventually it started to dawn on me that [I] had to start taking better care of myself before I [wind] up back in the same situation,” he said. “Getting all those substances out my body made me able to realize that listen, you got to work out, you got to eat better.”
As for Keyshia, she has been hard at work for some time slimming down. In case you missed it, she goes off in the gym (with the help of her line of waist trainers and slimming products), and she got Gucci to be on the same page.
“There were days that he would cheat, and then I’m like, You can’t cheat: you’re not like that! That way you wasted our whole workout and our eating together for three years,” she told The Fader. “We want to lose the weight, we want to focus, we want to be sober, we want to be more business-minded.”
They’ve both worked hard and it’s paid off. Not only do they look great physically, but they’re living their best life nowadays and they’re doing it together. Check out their glow up over the years and be sure to tune in for their nuptials. Congratulations to the happy couple!
