Why Do Most Of These Marriages That Are Listed End In Divorce? Seriously? There are people out there that got married fresh out of high school or college and are perfectly happy. It all depends on the maturity level at the time. The willingness to communicate, negotiate and to accept each other. People get divorced at any age. And; the sole reason is not because people got married young. People may get married for the wrong reasons. I.E. he makes my heart flutter, the S-e-x or other numerous non-factors when it came to love. What about the young lady from the parent hood? Didn’t snoop get married early? I truly believe this article could have had a more positive approach.

You missed Will Smith and his 1st wife

How about stars who married after the age of 30 and it still didn’t work. No matter what if you marry for the wrong reason it won’t last. If you are friends first, lovers second (and no one turns into a schziophrenic) then it will last forever.

Well that’s a load of crap. I know people who were friends for years and didn’t even make it through 1 yr as husband/wife. Marriages fail because its take work. Most people want things easy or not at all. Wise up!

That Solange pic, LMAO! THAT one was soooooo incredibly obvious when it happened. I don’t think marrying young is the same as a shotgun wedding, either. Shotgun weddings happen with people of all ages, for the WRONG reasons of course. I’m glad Solo found happiness with her new bew.

1st of all age 23 & above is not young. im from the UK & by that age people tend to be financially ok and university graduates. Therefore are responsible enough to handle marriage

well in this country the average is between 26-28. I also read that men 25 and under take too many risks.

Honestly, it’s about the individual. Everyone comes from different background and uphold different family values, and in their family they may not want to put an age on marriage.

You do not know who you are at 23…I don’t care what country you are from. I know you just wanted to tell us you were from the UK…tell us about the UK’s divorce rates. I don’t think people should marry before 30–you need to know who you are and what you want out of life before you make a life with another. And sadly all my friends who married in their 20′s also divorced in their 20′s.

wow! people r getting way too emotional about this topic. marriage is a universal thing, people all around the world get married in different ways. whatever happens to your friends when they got married young thats their problem. give an opinion but dont be tryna’ drop infomation like they are actual facts, especially when its based on minority of people. Everyone has different values when it comes to marriage some people honour the promises they made infront of God on their wedding day regardless of their age. like I said it’s all about the individual

Evilina why are taking it like that? I mean miss UK can be right! Everything depends on the society, the decade… There is no shame! College is more expensive in the US than in the UK. So I can understand that UK students finshed school before students in the states. Also, back in the days, you used to get married younger too. The only difference is when it didn’t work, you tried to make it work and didn’t file for divorce after your first fight. And actually naturally we supposed to get married and have children around 20. That’s why for example there are more cases of breast cancer in western countries than in Africa, because women give birth there younger than in here. So at the end of the day, there is no rules, it depends on individual, society…
