You’re Not Fat

If he loves you, he won’t try to hurt your feelings when it comes to your weight – especially if he knows that’s a sore subject for you. Body issues are common in both men and women, and no one wants to be told they’re fat, balding, droopy or saggy. But trust me, if you have mirrors or a scale in your house, you don’t need to be told if you’ve gained a few pounds, so don’t ask him if you look fat. Just let him grab onto those love handles or hit the gym. It’s that simple.

    Men lie not to spare a woman’s feelings, but to keep getting the “goods,” to keep getting what they want out of the woman……women must wake up and start having more respect for ourselves.

    1.  Yes…I would date you even if you didn’t have money (although you are butt ugly with no personality).
    2. Yes…I can feel it…(rolling my eyes in disgust).
    3. No…that was great! (wink …wink)
    4.  You are the best that I have ever had (ref 2 and 3…possibly 1).
    5.  I’ve only been with 4 guys…(whooo…can’t stop laughing on that one).
    6.  He’s just a friend….(ok…should I mention 2, 3, and 4 again?)
    7.  You are the daddy!  (Alhough…this is triffling…but is on the list).
    8.  I bought this a long time ago (hiding receipt).
    9.  I never dated him…he’s not my type (ref…sexy ruff neck from back in the day…we all have one).
    10.  You will be the only man I will ever love….(ok…this may not be a lie…but really?)

    I just want to know where these articles are coming from..they seem so biased against women and all the things men do to women and how women should act….this is not a one sided thing….MEN get played too, men get lied to, cheated on, etc…….where are the articles for them?

      I believe the writer says explicitly in the first paragraph that men AND women lie, and they BOTH do so for various reasons. The whole point of the article is to show that men THINK women are not strong enough to handle the truth, when I’m sure some of them are.

    I don’t understand why women ask men if they’re fat.  She knows whether she’s fat or not. Why look for trouble?  I’ve also known women to ask men who he would be with if he wasn’t with her.  ????.  Does she just NEED something to feel ticked off about?  Furthermore, it’s kind of silly to expect men to not look at women.  If they’re interested in women, they’re going to look at them.  As long as he’s not trying to get the other woman’s attention, get her phone number or slip her his, then who cares if he looks?

      Anyone with self-respect and dignity cares if he gawks at another woman while his woman is present. That is disrespectful and degrading, and makes both him and the woman he is with look bad.

        “Gawking” is disrespectful…a whole different kind of action and energy.   But, it makes a woman look no better when she’s visibly insecure about her man looking at other women, whether he is doing so or not.  I’ve seen women “lay claim” to a man when other women were present, by making a point to touch him in some way.  Suddenly, it becomes necessary for her to pick a piece of lint off his clothing or smooth his brow.  I’ve seen women behave like this even when a guy didn’t appear to be looking.  First of all, it communicates to the world that she’s probably with a man who has been a cheater throughout their relationship.  But most importantly, her reactions probably become his radar for when a woman he might find attractive is nearby.
