Oh, The Ratchetness! Lewd Songs Women Can’t Deny They Love

March 19, 2012  |

The Hip Hop game is male-dominated, so it comes as no surprise that there are more songs about women than there those made “for the ladies.” But it’s always surprising when women love music that’s blatantly chauvinistic and disrespectful. In this day and age, women demand respect and men that don’t deliver are shunned in civil environments.

That is, unless it’s a song at play. Apparently, a good beat and a catchy hook goes a long way, because the moment the bass drops women everywhere are crowding dance floors, singing and claiming, “that’s my song!”

After the jump: A list of songs women love at the demise of decency.

Put It in Your Mouth

Guys everywhere rejoiced when this throwback eased the tensions of asking for head by giving women a hook so seductive they started singing it by request. Most of the song’s lyrics are too raunchy for print but at least it gets poetic:

“Get on your knees,
make like the breeze,
begin to blow.
But don’t give me no
ralph lauren grin,
if you’re not down to go

“Ain’t No Fun”
Snoop Dogg

Easily one of Nate Dogg’s most memorable influences, “Ain’t No Fun” had Snoop and the homies passing women around like blunts. Apparently it makes for a very fun song too.

“Say Ahh”
Trey Songz featuring Fabolous.

Women get tribal on the dance floor when Trey comes on. The mega hit birthday anthem, “Say Ahh” puts women in suggestive positions. If you’re going to take it, you should take it the right way. Trey sings, “beat her body like a congo,”and Fabolous instructs a willing mouth, “Open Wider,” and “Uh-uh, no hand’s baby. No hands. It just makes it easier.”

Lil Wayne

Women that enjoy adult films will like many of Lil Wayne’s songs, which are like musical Adult Videos for a generation. In the Summer of 2010, he scorched the Rap charts with “A Millie” but his hit “for the ladies,” Lollipop had girls swaying in slow motion in clubs everywhere. Weezy spits, “She lick me like a lollipop.”

No Hands
Waka Flocka Flame ft. Wale, Roscoe Dash

The slow drawled tempo of “No Hands”  chorus is custom made for a lady to twirl on a stage and swing round a pole, while it’s lyrics instruct you what to do: “Imma sip mascato and you go loose them pants, And Imma throw dis money while you do it no hands.”

 I Just Wanna Love U

Jay-Z’s party anthem, I Just Wanna Love U, sends most women into a dancing fury, hands up in the air as soon as the Neptune sound drops. And from the moment Pharrell’s falsetto sends those hips swinging, women are regarded for their “sweets,” “gushy stuff” and little else in between.

  • LippyLiz

“loose” and “lose” are two different words with two different meanings. unless the lyrics were written that way and you copied and pasted them, you may need to proof read your work before submitting it…. education is key, people…

I’ve proud to say, I’ve never heard one of these songs!!! The truly sound ratchet!!  No wonder young girls feel that they exist for the sexual gratification of men no matter how deviant!!!

  • Guest

10 K.A.N.S- D**k In Yo life! That’s still my jam!

  • Dee

Where is that whisper song? or that David Banner’s Play?

I thought Nelly would be on the list for sure. I have this debate with myself all the time. While most of the songs on this list I don’t even know, I do like drop down and get your eagle on, hanging my head as I type.  And for this reason I don’t acknowledge liking the song unless I am at home or behind my computer. it’s horrible, but I get suckered in with the beat when Nelly is on. But no, I don’t buy any of it.

  • I’ve only heard Give it to me and Ain’t No Fun….guess I’m gettin old….lol

  • Pretty_girl567

    This list is whack

    • Secondsaway

I second that. I though I’d see something like What these b’s want from DMX or Superman from Eminem or Get Money from Biggie or Sex Faces from Scarface, Teela and Devin the dude

With the exception of no hands, I couldn’t even get with this list

      • Truthhurtz

Girrrrlll I am so ashamed that I like Sex Faces by Scarface but I can’t lie, that was my song. lol.

  • Lacey

I don’t even know like five of these songs lmao. What about Ying Yang Twins- Wait, David Banner- Play (this song is so outrageously dirty and yet it I love it death)? Get Low is definitely ratchet and yet practically everyone loves it.

    • <3

don’t forget Juvenile – Back That A** Up lol

      • Michelle

        Girllll that’s my jam!

  • PreciousD86

I hate to admit it but when I was a freshman in college ochie wallie was my cut… “little young thing, go around my d*** with your tongue ring.” A hot mess but had us jamming.

    • Truthhurtz

Lol. Yep Oochie Wallie was my song back in the day. As well as Shake dat Monkey by Too Short and many other “ratchet” songs. Lol. But out of this whole list, the only ones that I like is “No Hands” and “Lollipop”. The others not so much. And since when is “Say Ahh” lewd? lol!

  • ahhh isn’t degrading  woman so catchy ………..

  • Payit4ward212

Why isn’t Jay-Z’s “Big Pimpin'” not on this list? Or 2 Live Crew’s “Doo Doo Brown”? I know I get crazy whenever I hear those songs on the dancefloor 😎

    • eyeEEsha

I was just saying that Luke should be on this list and Big Pimpin is waaay more ratchet than “I just wanna love you”. I think the author needs to have her ratchet-meter recalibrated.

  • Who Me?

“In the Summer of 2010, he scorched the Rap charts with ‘A Millie'”? I’m no Wayne fan at all, but that song came out when I was in 10th or 11th grade which was ’08 ’09. I graduated in 2010.

    • Is It 5:00 Yet?

Same here. I graduated in 2010 and I remember people in my school were jamming Lollipop way before our senior year.

      • eyeEEsha

Yeah, I’m pretty sure Lollipop came out in 08.

  • I guess I’m getting old because every one of those songs makes my stomach turn . . . oh well . . .

  • Msghana

“Aint No Fun” is so ratchet it’s hilarious, but it’s one of my all time faves! Not proud of that…

  • ChelleBell

I can’t stand Waka Flocka but “No Hands” is definitely my jam…I hate to admit it lol

    • LiiSH

:::hangs head in shame::: Me too girl lol and his new one  Round of Applause. The ratchet in me indulges hard.

  • Sahara

Vybz Kartel anyone? it’s a secret passion, no denying that! I’d be the first to “drop it down low” when his songs come on. *hides*

    • Pivyque

Right! When Tik Tok came out, I was obsessed lol

  • Janee

    I don’t like any of these….let alone “love” #Ratchetness

  • Itsanewmec

I only like one of those songs. The rest of them can go to cassette and catch dust.

    2 of the 6 songs I don’t even know… The other 4 I wouldn’t say I “love” them, maybe like…
