"Couple arguing"

When we like a guy, we want to show him. We want to show him that we’ve taken an interest in his life, that we care for his well being, that we pay attention to what’s happening for him. But, if you exhibit any of the following actions too soon—say when you’ve only been dating for a couple months—you might just freak him out:

Wow.  This sounds like a stalker’s handbook, except they’d read, ‘do’ in all the places that say, ‘don’t’.

I’ve had men do this stuff to me. Trust when I say it isn’t cute on either gender.

  • Squeezablechic

Here’s some other stuff men don’t like:
    1. Going throughout their wallet.
    2. Going through their phone.
    3. Answering their phone without permission.
    4. Dissing them in front of their friends.
    5. Reading their mail.
    6. Taking forever to order at a restaurant.
    7. Talking to your girl on the phone when it’s supposed to be their time.
    8. Bringing up old sh*t during an argument.
    9. Comparing them with another man.
    10. Looking through their car like a detective for signs that another woman has been in the car.

I usually think I’m off my rocker from time to time (and I was nervous before reading this, lol), but I would not do any of these things…Where they do that at??

  • Leonada

If you’re in a relationship with a man that’s supposedly going somewhere and you can’t do ANY of these things without him getting annoyed then it’s time to move on because obviously for him, YOU are not the one.  Every one of these things sounds like a man who just has you around for “now”.  So keep it moving.

This article is talking about a few months into the relationship, not a year or two. Every relationship has its own unique pace, but this is talking about a few months in.

Ur so right Leonada, i see no reason why one should still stick around with that kind of person, he shouldn’t see anything wrong in it if ur both looking forward to the future. ( just keeping it real)

  • MRSW

O.k. – I agree that you should NOT just be at somebody’s house without discussing it with them first…even if you have a key….even though I did do it once or twice before I married my husband (just checking)

  • MRSW

Really –  “men” think not getting pregnant is the woman’s responsibility – this JUVENILE mindset will keep you fools paying child support to women you hate…..stupid – if you don’t want no kids with a woman – wrap that d@ck up….period.  FYI…the child support judge (and your wife – for the cheaters) don’t think it’s the woman’s responsibility…just so you know.

  • lacehankies

where you’ll find these type of women to perform ANY of these STUNTS?!!? who doesn’t know ANY of these things—it’s called slow-walking! I treat MEN like I wish to be treated—so i certainly will not be crowding him IF we aren’t serious. And the SEX-thing isn’t an OPTION—if you are SEXing in an UNESTABLISHED relationship CONDOMS are an absolute MUST!

  • jigga

    • Njgal81

Yep…I learned this the hard way when I was younger.

And more recently I sent a text to dude-nothing, called him-nothing. But I never stopped by his house. Over a year later he contacted me asking me what happened…

      Guys are funny.

  • MsIndependent

This applies to both sexes. Thankfully I don’t do any of this stuff because of my pride. The man i’m dating now, his house is so disorganized sometimes, i just push-off the cloths on the spot i plan to sit on his couch. I don’t inquire why it’s disorganized  I’m not married to him. I’ve met one friend so far, he has more, but i don’t inquire about them either.  If he feels i’m worth introducing to his friends then so be it and vice versa. Every time i visit him I always ask him if its okay to do anything in his house even opening the fridge or the remote control ( my mom raised me to always respect others home). I’m not married to him so i’m not going to act like i know my way around and start touching stuff all over his house. I always request we meet at a public spot and never at his home and he always insist i come over his place or he comes to my place. If a guy shows up at my place without prior notification i will be offended too. It’s an invasion of my privacy.

    • XYZEBRA

This all sounds good EXCEPT his place being a mess when you visit. Always clean up when female company is over, it’s a basic.

    • Eiancraw

Do you know how crazy you sound right now?

Unprotected sex shouldn’t be taking place before marriage, but especially only after a few months of dating. It can take a longer than 6 months for the AIDS virus to show in his/her system. People better wrap it up!

No thanks
