(Albany Business Review) — More New York state legislators are criticizing Gov. David Paterson’s freeze on payments to construction companies as the impasse over a new state budget nears the two week-mark.
Assembly Majority Leader Ronald Canestrari and Assemblyman Bob Reilly, both Democrats representing districts in the Albany area, said Paterson should release the money so more contractors don’t stop working on road projects.
