We rattled off our top male R&B singers already so of course we have to get into the ladies. Same rules apply when it comes to criteria — we’re talking about vocals here, not album sales, streams, performance ability, net worth,social media following or any of those other arbitrary things that are used to qualify someone as famous or a “singer” these days. The only names we want to see here are the names of women who can blow, women who don’t need anything more than a mic for the beauty of their voices to be heard.
