A very pregnant Draya Michele and Orlando Scandrick have broken up again. This is nothing new, except for the sad fact that there’s now a sweet baby boy hanging in the balance. While it seems that infidelity on Scandrick’s part may have contributed to this most recent split, the former “Basketball Wives LA” star seemed to imply that the “break” is only temporary. The rumor mill is suggesting that the baby may not be Orlando’s, which is apparently why Draya chose to address everything on social media.
“I gave the ring back Jan. 1st and ended things,” she told a fan on Instagram. “This paternity nonsense came from people like you seeing me without my ring and making up sh-t.”
When another fan inquired about why the expectant mom chose to air her business out on social media, Draya explained that she doesn’t want to be embarrassed when the blogs catch Orlando with other women.
“I honestly have to……to avoid being embarrassed by the behavior he displays on these breaks. At least I can say ‘we were broken up’ when he ends up on groupie tales or whatever. It’s like my insurance. Imma do better in life. Sorry I let so many down.”
It sucks that any pregnant woman has to go through this during a time when she should be relaxed and stress free, but we suppose that this is what happens when you bring children into an unstable relationship. Hopefully, Draya sticks to her plan to do better. We’d definitely like to see her succeed in her personal life in the same way that she’s winning in her professional life.
