Gone are the days where exotic dancers are viewed as “unwifeable.” And if you’re wondering why it seems that these seductive performers appear to be getting “wifed up” before other women, Amber Rose believes she has the answers. According to dancer-turned-wife, strippers often possess something that many women don’t: confidence.
“Dancers are naturally confident and that’s what men love. Men love confidence,” Amber explained during a recent episode of “Kandi Koated Nights.” “Men love women that can move their body in that way. Also, it’s very sexy.”
She went on to say that being pleasant and charming is a part of the job, which works to one’s advantage when it comes to dating and relationships.
“Dancers are also very personable. When you’re a dancer, you have to walk around and make your rounds. You have to talk to people; you have to seduce the money out of their pockets. And it’s not ever in a vindictive way. They know why you’re there. You know why the guys are there. So it’s just extreme confidence that men love.”
Amber also fondly reflected on her dancer days and referred to the occupation as a way to earn an “honest living.”
“Best time of my life. It was so much fun,” she shared. “I don’t have any sob stories about me dancing. I had the time of my life.”
“It’s an honest living she continued, People associate strippers with prostitution and it’s not the same job. It’s not the same job as a porn star either.”
As it turns out, when Amber retired from the pole, she was signed to Ford Models New York.
“I was making money and I didn’t have to dance anymore,” she explained.
