At some point or another we’ve all felt the urge to want to “re-invent” ourselves. Usually this decision is brought on by a new job, a new man, or just wanting to change a course in life. Switching it up and putting your beauty cues in a whole new gear is totally fine, but what if everyone around you hates it? Prime example? Our girl Rihanna.
Up until now, Rih could do no wrong. She turned it out red carpet after red carpet, and has even been dubbed a style icon by mega fashion authorities like Elle and Marie Claire, however her recent style choices have us scratching our heads.
Today she arrived at the Miu Miu show for Paris Fashion Week wearing “loud” flaming red hair, matching nails, a kaleidoscope dress, and pumps with socks to boot. We love her, but this one was a doozy. Owning your style and individuality is great, but when does the line between trendsetting and tacky appear? It seems to have all but faded for Rihanna. We’re sure there is some method behind the madness and that her glam squad probably has a few tricks up their sleeves, but this image is taking too long to transfer from “miss” to “hit.”
Should our pop princess revert back to a style that was dark and edgy or ride out this colorful wave. Trash it or Keep it?
