Now that the New Year is upon us, it’s time that you get cracking on those promises you made to yourself, otherwise known as resolutions. Don’t let this year be another failure in the personal growth department. Hold yourself accountable and reach your goals with a few tips. They may be simple to grasp but difficult when it comes to the actual execution; but hey, it’s worth a try.

If you want to lose weight Eat Only When You’re Hungry

For many of us eating when we’re bored or sitting in front of the television contributes significantly to our weight gain or inability to drop those pounds that have been hanging around since the late eighties. If you’re serious about your health and your weight loss goals this year it’s going to take a combination of both exercise and proper nutrition. To be successful, you’ll need to employ a little discipline. Which means you’ll have to learn what it feels like when you’re genuinely hungry.

Forgive to Move On

Some of us fail to realize that the reason we haven’t achieved all that we want or deserve in life is because we’re still holding onto baggage. We’ve all been hurt; but if you want to live and experience all that life has to offer, you’ll have to work very hard to address the issue and work toward healing.

Write Your Goals Down

In order to hold yourself accountable; write your goals down so you can see them on paper. But don’t file it away. Be sure to display it some place where you can see it everyday. Even if you eventually become numb to the paper itself, the message will be in your mind.

What strategies have you implemented to help you reach your New Year’s resolutions?
