Many single folks romanticize how they will meet the love of their life. For some people, it usually pans out in a way that they would least expect–but in the case of Jayla and Tony, both of these love birds got exactly what they dreamed of.

Jayla and Tony met as strangers randomly at a homecoming rally in 2017. Tony spotted Jayla in the crowd, but was initially too shy to approach her. When Tony climbed a pile of wood for a photo op, the beautiful woman he eyed in the crowd made her way next to him.

The words she uttered next turned out to be prophetic.

“Soo I just wanna let you know that you’re my future husband,” she boldly told Tony. Luckily, Tony was on the same page.  “Oh word??” he responded, and the rest is pretty much history. They didn’t exchange numbers, but Tony did go on to DM Jayla weeks later, and they haven’t gone a day without talking since. What’s epic about their story is the entire chain of events is documented in photos and videos.

The pair’s beautiful story went viral on Twitter, when Tony recalled the tale to celebrate the two year anniversary of meeting the “love of his life.”

Then the epic moment when she told Tony they would be married will live forever on the web:

The two not only got married, but they are now the proud parents of a baby boy.  Jayla commemorated the day they met with a touching post on Instagram, saying:

“Love at first sight is real. I saw Tony for the first time and all I could think is “that’s my husband.” I walked over to him after being shy the entire party we were at.. I threw my arms around him and all I could say was “you know you’re my future husband right?” And he replied “Oh word?” later we got properly introduced and he replied “I know, that’s my future wife” and the rest is history.”

Speaking things into existence is real.
