Last week, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield gave viewers an inside look at Chateau Sheree on NBC’s real estate show Open House. And it is stunning. The previously years-long unfinished house heard ’round the reality worlds, is living up to its name.

With help from designer Mikel Welch, who is also the on-camera design expert on The Steve Harvey Show, the two produced a gorgeous finished product that would leave the shadiest housewife speechless (Yes, even Kenya Moore).

“I finally finished Chateau Shereé about a year and a half ago, and I can honestly say — from top to bottom — it is my dream home, and I can’t wait to show you around,” Whitfield said at the top of the segment.

Whitfield leads viewers through the gigantic foyer, dining room, great room, kitchen and basement. Complete with marble floors, crystal chandeliers, and backsplashes, the home is not for a shy person.

The 48-year-old said she loves to entertain, so these spaces are not overwhelming for her. They’re just right.

“I love to entertain, so I wanted a wow factor the minute people walked through the door,” she said. “I think that what makes a luxury home so great is paying attention to detail. Here in the foyer, you’ll notice that detail, from the marble porcelain floors all the way up to the mother of pearl domed ceiling. Details like that establish the glamorous tone that I wanted throughout the home.”

All rooms are tied together by Whitfield’s preference for muted colors like white, gray, and brown, but they pop with complementary metallics like gold and silver.

“Now if you’re familiar with the Housewives, you know I built this house from the ground up to my exact specifications. And because I love to have guests over, it was important to me that the place had an easy, open flow from room to room,” she said.

And the most fun guests would have been her Housewives co-stars. While it would have been fun to watch Whitfield glee while their jaws dropped after seeing the completion of Chateau Sheree, we’re going to have to wait for those scenes.

Whitfield’s contract was not renewed to join Nene Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams and Eva Marcille for the new season. So, here’s hoping that the Chateau will still be standing if she returns to the Bravo franchise.
