(Washington Business Journal) — Ward 6 D.C. Councilman Tommy Wells is expected to introduced legislation Tuesday that would allocate $5 million for small businesses on H Street NE and another $5 million for Guy Steuart’s mixed-use project at Third and H.
The council in 2007 named H Street NE one of six neighborhood retail priority areas, and set aside up to $25 million in tax increment financing bonds to kick start development on the corridor.
