(Washington Business Journal) — Seven transit stops in Prince George’s and Montgomery counties will get development assistance priority for nearby transit-oriented projects, Gov. Martin O’Malley announced Friday.

In Prince George’s County, the Branch Avenue Metro, Naylor Road Metro, Laurel MARC and New Carrollton Metro, MARC and Amtrak stations will be eligible for public assistance from the Maryland Department of Transportation and other state agencies. The assistance could include development incentives, pedestrian access improvements and infrastructure updates.
