To most people, this is definitely considered snooping. The act alone stands as one of the most controversial in the dating world. But, in the end, no matter if you find it right or wrong, if you’re going to snoop, there are some definite do’s and dont’s.

I’m always [pleasantly] surprised to see how Snoop Dogg, former gangsta rapper from the west coast, has been able to transition so seamlessly into mainstream media. I know you’ve seen it before now; but the most recent example of this came when Snoop showed up to guest host “The Price is Right.” Yes, “The Price is Right” a show who’s primary demographic is old, retired women and the unemployed.

Check out a clip of Snoop helping out one of the contestants below. It’s pretty funny.

You can watch the rest of Snoop’s Price is Right appearance here.

Shante Keeps Snoop and His Homies on a Leash

"snoop and playboy bunnies"
It ain’t no fun if the homies can’t have none, so I’m assuming folks didn’t have such a good time at Snoop’s pre-40th birthday celebration at the London Playboy Club. Snoop and his boys Ashley Cole, former Blur star Damon Albarn, and David Haye were having a good time snapping pics and chilling in VIP with 20 or so gyrating Playboy bunnies when Snoop’s wife Shante popped up and told the bunnies to hop on.

According to a witness account on necolebitchie.com: “It was hilarious. There were 20 women in pink bunny outfits whooping, cheering and gyrating as he got up, but by the time he sat back down they’d all been cleared out – and there was a much sterner looking woman [sitting] there instead. Snoop’s wife sat on his table and did not move all night. The boys were gutted as the bunnies had been instructed to treat them as VIP guests – but were suddenly all told to leave his table immediately.

“Snoop made up for the lack of entertaining woman-rabbits by performing P.I.M.P, Drop It Like It’s Hot, and Wet, which he wrote especially for Prince William’s stag do. But Shante shot him such a look every time he shouted out to ‘the Hot Playboy bunnies in the house’.”

The short lived party was apparently Snoop’s first night out since arriving in the UK last week for his sell-out tour. He had been barred for life from British Airways flights after members of his entourage sparked a mini-riot at London’s Heathrow airport in July 2006. The ban was eventually lifted when the “Gin and Juice” rapper was invited to perform at Glastonbury in 2010. Snoop might be free to travel into the country, but Shante clearly put him back in the dog house.

As black women we love hair…even if it grows on the head of a man. While you might not date a man whose hair longer than yours, you still have to admire and admit it’s freshness. If you don’t admit that long hair on a man is eye catching, you might just be a little jealous. It’s ok girl, if you do the right thing you too might be able to achieve the shoulder length locks of the following celebrities.

Awwww, come on Snoop! Felicia “Snoop” Pearson, the pint-sized actress from HBO’s critically acclaimed series “The Wire,” was recently arrested in Baltimore during a drug raid that got 60 people put in the clink.

Pearson isn’t exactly a stranger to the criminal justice system. At 16 years old she was sentenced to eight years in prison after she pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. We were JUST talking about black female entertainers who aren’t strangers to mugshot photography.

Check out AOL Black Voices for more details on Pearson’s arrest and what she had been doing since “The Wire” wrapped.

Creator of The Wire Speaks On Snoop’s Arrest and Limitations of Entertainment Industry

(Slate) — Earlier today, The Wire actress Felicia “Snoop” Pearson was arrested as part of a large-scale drug raid in Baltimore and surrounding counties. Slate asked David Simon, creator and executive producer of The Wire (and currently in production on Treme), for comment. He offered this statement, provided to Slate through an HBO spokesperson.

First of all, Felicia’s entitled to the presumption of innocence. And I would note that a previous, but recent drug arrest that targeted her was later found to be unwarranted and the charges were dropped. Nonetheless, I’m certainly sad at the news today. This young lady has, from her earliest moments, had one of the hardest lives imaginable.  And whatever good fortune came from her role in The Wire seems, in retrospect, limited to that project. She worked hard as an actor and was entirely professional, but the entertainment industry as a whole does not offer a great many roles for those who can portray people from the other America. There are, in fact, relatively few stories told about the other America.
